Bear in mind Lake Nona high school is currently extremely overcrowded due to the mass influx of people moving there. They've added around 1,000 additional students in the last year or two.
There is a re-zoning happening for the high school and middle school, they are creating a new high school south of 528 and east of Narcossee. But that shouldn't open up until 2025 when the Lake Nona High School is beyond capacity.

I live in Spinglike Village, Lake Nona adjecent. I love it. Probably the most beautiful community. Plus not so pricey.

I use to visit a friend who lives in Lake Nona cute ! I noticed a lot of cars parked on the streets small lots over all I just felt literally squeezed in like Nona! I feel if you're going to go into a nice area moving to winter Park or an area that has bigger lot lines a lot of young people that drive cars fast it just wasn't my vibe!!! Great video appreciate your input
Village walk has a new elementary school with gate into the community.
My kids meet their class mates cycling to the school gate, all within the the community walls.
The gate and crossing is staffed for drop-off and pickup. Just perfect.

What to make of Storey park by Lennar in the Lake nona area? In regard to location in relation to Laureate park, amenities, neighborhood and upcoming developments.
What about North Lake Park? Also some of the school zones are changing in the area. It would be good to look at that.
Isn't there a new Canal community that leads out into Lake Toho in that area? I was at a boat show last year and the builder had a booth highlighting this new community.
We bought two house with garage studio in isle of lake Nona as investment and bought Mosaic collection in laurel pointe for ourself and plan to move to lake Nona in year or two.

Narcoossee is only getting worse. IT's the same all over the state, though. Crap DOT planning/execution. Boggy Creek needs to be expanded to 4-6 lanes ASAP. The Osceola Parkway extension will be great, but 5 years too late. Same for the Sunbridge Parkway extension from the Beachline to Sunbridge. The state of Florida is terrible about doing road infrastructure in a timely manner.

Overreaction. Central Florida will be just fine. A hurricane that will actually retain enough strength once it hits land and comes inland is rare - maybe very 20 years or so, like Charley in 2004. The track for this storm is way over in the Gulf. Orlando might get some squalls and extra rain - that's all.
Appreciate the prayers. We’re already prepped with water bottles (at home not 100 cases like the Walmart nuts lol) and plenty of non-perishable food. Honestly hurricanes rarely affect Orlando. Not nearly as bad as the coasts

The HS is over crowded, the middle school is over crowded, too many apartments with no matching infrastructure, Narcoossee traffic is insane and almost all the shops/restaurants are chains. There is no real benefit to being in "Lake Nona proper" than being across the street. Tavistock just keeps building more apartments and office buildings. All but one restaurant in the town center is owned by Tavistock. Tell me again why this place is so hyped?
lol. tavistock is not doing that. they only control lake nona, they can't control what's next to it.
Would it be a good idea to sell in East Orlando and move to Summerdale in lake nona if I can work from home ?
Depends on your financial situation (current mortgage interest rates, amount owed) and what your long term goals are. I like what they’re building over there though!
How about Northlake Park at Lake Nona?
Technically, 32832. Not in Lake Nona. I also didn’t mention Eagle Creek. Both cash in on the Lake Nona area, but are not technically in 32827 where Tavistock developed.
@@kenpozek Incorrect, North Lake Park is 32827. But if you are basing Lake Nona as only “Travistock developed” then you should take the Lake Nona County club off the list as well, that place has been around here since the 1980s, way before Travistock moved in.
Lake Nona is one of the most super expensive areas in Orlando because it's an area that is meant for anyone who is a doctor of some sort. If you have the money for Lake Nona and you're in the medical field, dental surgeon, a psychologist, psychiatrist, or therapist, this is definitely your type of area.
True! Or people in accounting. Or defense. Or Disney corporate. Or USTA fans. Or small business owners :) Lots of people from all over the spectrum!
