- I ditched my Thrush welded mufflers and had two 12" Cherry Bomb glass packs welded in their place. THIS is the sound I have been looking for. As for flow, maybe it's just good weather but I notice a bit more throttle response being these are straight through as compared to the chokemaster knock offs.

What glasspacks model or part number you used?
Why does this sound so much louder than other glasspack videos. All the other ones are way quieter and people say it is close to stock. This is the sound I am looking for.
Midwest Mopars the length of the glass pack makes a huge impact. These are 12” glasspacks, the think the total length with the inlet and outlet is 18”. I also have gutted cats and deleted resonators. So simply swapping stock mufflers for these but keeping the stock reso’s and cats might sound close to stock. The stock mufflers are straight thru mufflers VERY similar in design to magnaflows so muffler-only swaps won’t yield too much sound or flow
Just checked out your page. Your scat pack comes STOCK with either glasspacks or magnaflow-influenced mufflers. It flows amazing. I would consider investing in a Tazer and forcing your track mode to stay constantly on, opening your exhaust valve and increasing sound and flow. If it’s still not loud enough you could always just get two resonator delete pipes and cut out the mufflers or resos. A Tazer will pay for itself too... you can unlock SRT pages in the 2012-2014 chargers. I charged $60 a person and made my money back in a month

@@captain052A sometime in 2017 the company released an update that required the taxer to be married. Go onto the Z Auto website and scroll through the different versions. It will take some trial and error, but try out different update versions from 2016. You will lose some features that the later versions provide, but you will gain the ability to unlock features on other people's car without marrying.

David Botello thank you. I pride this setup based on its low cost and quality of sound, compared to SLP, Borla, and Corsa that sound just as good but cost $800+. Drone is minimal. I’m tuned so my MDS is off which is a HUGE factor for reducing drone. Also ditching the stock tips and piping your exhaust past the bumper helps a ton. The stock “tips” attached to the bumper help resonate sound under the trunk like a sub woofer.

A little bit but nothing to complain about. The key is to ditch the factory bumper-mounted exhaust tips and actually pipe the exhaust out to get the sound out behind the car, rather than under it

JBA Shorty headers. No catalytic converters, and two 12" 2.25" inlet/outlet cherry bomb glass packs. I don't know part numbers
Headers didn't change the sound at all. So if you're looking for this same sound you won't need headers

I'm running two Cherry Bomb 87521 ($32.05/ea shipped on Amazon Prime). Since the factory mufflers have an offset inlet and outlet my local muffler shop welded them up at a 45* angle. They sound even better after a few heating and cooling cycles. To get this exact sound you'll have to gut your cats, ditch the resonators, and run exhaust tips out the back past the bumper openings (the factory bumper-attached tips just make the sound resonate under the car like a big subwoofer). I have very little drone once cruising, unless I'm doing 75+mph

Adam Rodriguez good luck with the header install. I hope long tubes are easier than shorties. Took myself and a very experienced GM mechanic 12 hours. But the results were well worth the hours of cussing and busted up knuckles
Is this cherry bomb in place of mid muffler and oem resonators still intact?

which cherry bombs do you have and how is the setup ran
I replaced each mid muffler with 2 12" 2.25" cherry bombs. I had an exhaust shop fit them, they ran a 45 degree pipe, then the glass pack, then another 45 to fit it to the factory exhaust. Then for the resonators I had cut off they bent pipe to run out the back. For the reso delete you can get a blast in Bob's kit to do the same. My cats were gutted as well (so it looked legal, we don't have inspections in Ohio, but just in case) and I did the spark plugs and anti-fouler trick so no CEL, and my headers were JBA shorties, which were a real pita to install. Power gains were VERY noticable, consistently chirping 2nd gear even though I had the 2.65 rear end

Ryan Williams there are 2 12" glasspacks. Doing a mid-muffler delete and buying the blastin Bob's kit with the bullet mufflers will give you the same sound.
What exhaust tips are those?
