Phil once said Dennis was the most coachable player he ever had.

I don't agree with Phil politically but he seems like a very good coach to play for.

probably due to the energy Rodman would bring to the court… the guy was always eager to do whatever it takes to win!

I love the ending when Jordan and Rodman give each other a knuckle shake 16:29

MJ had the most utmost secretive respect for my 🐐 Rodzilla.. He knew how important he was to the team.. And Mj stern talking to Pip telling him to put his hate for Rodman aside to win rings was quite remarkable..
As Pip has said in many interviews over the years it didn't take him long to change stance on Rodman after the season kicked off

I love Dennis Rodman. Free spirit who didn't give a damn what others thought of him.

Insane love Rodman my fav player ever ever since I was able to watch bball born in 90. Jordan second Reggie is close then Timmy d as a spurs fa but those bulls captured me early. I feel no one loves basketball more than Rodman though just like a pure dysfunctional love relationship Rodman had with the game it’s just so enthralling

He came into the best environment possible. He wasn't the biggest show on the court or the hardest worker in practice either. He had Jordan who was in both roles on the Bulls. He knew his role clean the boards and shutdown whomsoever he got assigned to on the defensive end plus get inside the opponents heads.

Rodman was the rockstar of all rockstars and was renowned for his work ethic. He do an extra 45mins of cardio training AFTER the game most games

Naw Dennis worked hard off the court. Did was a rabbit. He was doing a lot of cardio. it's just rodman could do a game, get 30 rebounds, do cardio, go party and do it all again within 24 hours and Michael Jordan would not get mad

I saw a clip of Barkley bragging about how he dealt with Rodman, he said he'd punch him as hard as he could at the beginning of the game. I'm not a fan of that kind of dirty, disgusting, un-sportsman-like playing but I couldn't help from giggling either when I saw it. Barkley was an asshole.
