I love that we are having these conversations now. A lot of Black folks are talking about returning to the South and investing our hard-earned dollars in our communities, recharging and supporting our local economies.
Allendale South Carolina is 80% black, just like my home town Sparta Georgia Which is also 80% black. Alot of these small towns throughout the Deep South are majority black especially here in Georgia 🏡
Yeah, this is dope. We not only becoming more financially literate, but also becoming more well versed in civics and politics as well. This is the kind of information that'll equip us to more comfortably (and effectively) engage with our elected officials. F&ck outta here.
