    Positive camber with a rocker nose is my favorite profile right now. I ride skeleton key which always has this going on. The current Burton quiver is sooo good 👍

    I'm on my second Flight Attendant. I had a 2019 and now I'm on a 2021. This is a very accurate review. The board is very stable and really smooth edge to edge. For sure not a park board but an awesome all mountain ripper.

    Great video on perhaps my favourite board of all time... how would you compare this to a Hometown Hero deck? I realize that it is a bit softer between the feet, but how would that affect the stability?

    Great review thanks. I just retired my Supermodel X which has given me a solid ten years of stomping. I loved it all round n this review confirmed my upgrade to the FA. Hoping new tech delivers for me……

    Great review man 🔥🤟🏽thanks
    I’ve just seen it after riding my 2021/2022 162w last season.
    I use to ride 2 to 3cm shorter but that 162w was so fast on pow steep terrain as well😱 so stable and in control.
    And just one thing, thanks to it backseat camber, this shines a LOT when riding on the rear foot either on pow or on groomers. Such a blast 💥 ending each turn while pushing on that rear foot…on groomers it literally disengage the nose when transitioning from edge to edge…such an animal for me 🔥🤟🏼👊🏼🙌🏼
    Seeyaaaah 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼

      @BoardArchive  Před 2 lety +1

      mann that is a really tough decision, but I would probably go for the stratos personally. The flight attendant might be slightly more stable but I enjoy the 3D base on the Stratos and the more springy feel to the flex

    I noticed that the Straight Chuter has a lot of similar shaping philosophy to it, but it’s all just a bit more exaggerated. 18mm of taper instead of 10mm, directional camber with some early rise, but an even longer nose, a little extra carbon, etc. Have you been on the Straight Chuter? How do they compare?

    • @lubo3614
      @lubo3614 Před rokem +1

      Hi there, I feel that the Chuter should be the bigger bro of the fly attendant. So you can ride even faster and carve harder then on the fly. I rode the fly since 2015 and want to buy rossignol xv, which should be very similar to burton straight schuter. Will keep the fly to ride slower with my 7year old sun in the resort. Have a nice day

  • @xtramoistboi
    @xtramoistboi Před 2 lety +1

    European winters are often a little harsh but this board cuts through the chuff like butter but on hard pack I am tempted to shift my bindings forward to compensate for the 35mm setback. What do you recommend for someone with less pow and more ice? Lol

    • @BoardArchive
      @BoardArchive  Před 2 lety +1

      I think the setback has a nice feel for carving I wouldn't shift forward on this board. But you can always try it for a day and see if you like it

    Hello, I am new to snowboarding and I need help purchasing a snowboard.
    I will not be doing any tricks, just riding here in the mountains in NC.
    My character settings: 185lbs, 10.5 shoe size
    I am looking at Rocker / Flat / Rocker snowboards like Burton Instigator. Is this a good combo for a beginner and to advance.

    • @jonnynails
      @jonnynails Před 2 lety +1

      If you ride a lot of POW this size would be great. I'm 6'1 205lbs and ride a 162. Love the board - it's great if your a hard charger. The more you push it the better it performs. Like TJ said it's very stable at speed, transitions edge to edge quickly, locks in on an edge, and just loves to go fast! I preferred it on the jumps in the park over my park board. Rails not so much, but I'm a mediocre rail guy so take that for what it's worth. I really considered getting the 168 for a powder board but ended up with a Straight Chuter and use my 162 Flight Attendant for the resort.
