These US Generals are great boxes for the cost. I have both the series 2 and 3 top 56 inch chests. I waited for the taller series 3 to get on sale before I put one on top of the bottom. Glad I did that. Built a steel bech to sit the other 56 top chest on. I like them both alot
I bought a series 3 end cabinet and put it on my series 2 44” and the end cabinet is longer so I cant bolt the bottom of the end cabinet to the toolbox, I was surprised you didn’t have this problem, the 56” boxes must be taller
I love the locker. I just got a series 3 56" orange box as an upgrade over my series 2 44" orange box. I am debating whether to go with the hutch or locker first. I work in a shop so a hutch would be nice!
@@ccgarage5040 That makes sense. Luckily (or not? lol) I don't have the amount of stuff to fill a top box right now. I still also have my old one as well which I think my work is okay with me keeping there. Having a hutch is something I've always wanted for my box and I'm glad HF/USG realized people use them in an environment outside of the home more and more these days and did the hutch.
@@kyle1021 I didn't have a lot of tools to fill mine either but I keep watching sales to buy nice tools to fill the box and a lot of my old tools will be replaced or handed down to my kids

They fit better with 2 end lockers. I have 2 now with a fridge in one along with a power strip and all my battery chargers

I like the look of the hutches but I really like having all the drawers. I have 2 lockers now because I thought it looked funny with just one

Did you have bolt holes on the bottom on the box to screw into the locker I don’t see any on mine was thinking about drilling holes to nut and bolt it
If I remember correctly I think there were holes to bolt through the locker into the bottom box
Is the locker a brighter orange? It looks brighter or maybe deeper
