- Ayo, how are y'all! The Angry Beavers, Dag & Norb, and also Gerald Johanssen from Hey Arnold have been revealed within 2 days, wow! Two (or three technically since Dag & Norb seem pretty different and you don't haaave to switch between them!) new fighters, wow!!
The Angry Beavers, Dag & Norb, tag each other out and call each other for assist moves!! That's pretty amazing and reminds me of my time playing Marvel vs Capcom 3 so I think they'll turn out real fun and I'm looking forward to trying them! I also just like their beavery wildlife vibe, slappin with their tails and chompin, I wonder if they'll build dams or somethin! Also, wow, maybe my favorite stage in the game, their dam with their red and yellow surrounding trees was one of my most wanted for it's pretty autumn vibes and aah, it's here and beauuutiful!
And Gerald has some fun equipment! The bike and skateboard seem especially fun, but so many fun animations too, like his smug crouch, ha! He's brought a fun personality and vibe no one else in the game has that's real fun to see! Looking forward to seeing more and how fast and far his fully charged-up bike can go!

Oooh, cool! Neat title! If this game has profiles like Marvel vs Capcom or Street Fighter or some other stuff, I could see "Teller of All Tales" being a cool title you could unlock and display after playing Gerald like 20 times or doing some neat challenge with him! But even if none of that happens, that's still just cool and neat they incorporated that as his super!
But what about the NPCs is I’m questioning if they have voice lines too

I like the Angry Beavers assist mechanic reminds me of MVC3. Can’t wait to see Gerald and the Beavers Spotlights.

They were really fun and it'd be cool to see them again, but seeing how much work they've put in their short time frame, I'm not sure they'll make it...! But! Who knows, if there's enough love and support then maybe we could see them as DLC? Or maybe there are also some kind of collectibles and we can still read up on them or have pictures of them as profile pictures and stuff to show em some love?

Seeing the Angry Beavers reveal really got me excited. I forgot how much I loved that show as a kid. Probably my new main for this game.
Seeing Gerald pull of the skateboard stunts and bike attacks kinda makes me wish they put Otto or any of the Rocket Power kids in. Such an underrated show.
Love how they did the Beavers with not only one having the other be a MVC like assist move for their moveset but also switch out like Pyra and Mythra in Smash Ultimate. Cant wait to play them they look really fun to play!
Gerald also looks great! Especially loved his Super being a callback to the ghost bride episode I would’ve never thought of that.
I remember that bike reference. It's an entire episode where Arnold figures out that Gerald didn't know how to ride a bike. He tried as a little kid, crashed, and was too scared to try again. Arnold tries to help him get over it, but the other kids see it and mock him for it. The episode is called "Gerald's Secret". Not trying to spoil it, but to me, it's one of the show's high points.
Aw, that sounds so sweet and adorable! The wobbly uncharged animation makes even more sense and gets even more sympathy from me now! But aw, Arnold helped him out and now when he charges it he rides it with lots of confidence and it looks like it hits great! Thanks for sharing, that's really so sweet and cool!
I freaking love the Angry Beavers it was my favorite night show to binge on Nick at nite

Loud House has two stages, but one rep
So we either got a new loud house character, Loud Castle is Gerald's stage, or we've got 25 characters and 26 stages.
The Angry Beavers look like so much fun, the assist gimmick is amazing and something i honestly would've loved to see as a toggle-able mechanic for the whole cast (Maybe characters have a set amount of series specific assists? Like Spongebob gets Gary and Doodlebob, Danny gets Sam and Tucker, Jimmy gets Carl and Sheen, etc.? Would be fun but probably insanely broken in competitive lol thats why it could be toggle-able instead of a main mechanic)
Knowing all of the characters because of the leak and not speculating on DLC, the only thing i still want to see from this game on release is some Nicktoons Unite series reference! If its just Spongebob, Jimmy and Danny acknowledging each other and their past adventures in the campaign, thats good enough for me, i just want that series to get some love in some way
Ooh, that sounds like so much extra work, but fun to think about yeah! Maybe something like a mode or using other fighters as assists could be fun too, like picking Danny as your main character but also Spongebob as an assist, like Skullgirls or Marvel vs Capcom! And yeah, I'm not sure how many tough legal limits there may be, but a Nicktoons Unite acknowledgement would be heartwarming!
The character the beavers remind me of most are the maids from melty blood. As they are a pair of siblings can be switched between but also call the other in the back for assists.
Gerald’s boombox might be his up charge, with the sound waves going upwards.

I can't help but notice that Gerald and Jenny have no stage of their own yet, but The Loud House has 2 stages with only Lucy present, maybe they ditched the one stage for each character thing?

Dagget's up air that he does after up throwing Reptar reminds me of Wonder Woman's up air in MVS. Her up air could spike if you hit it at the last moment.
Daggets up air reminds me more of pikachu’s older up air, it’s kinda like a semi spike
