- From the dawn of creation, THE COUNCIL has maintained the Balance across existence. Carrying out their orders are THE HORSEMEN, Nephilim (powerful beings spawned from the unnatural union of angels and demons) who have pledged themselves to the Council and been granted immense power. However, this power came at a tragic cost: the Horsemen were ordered to use their newfound strength to wipe out the rest of their kind. What followed was a bloody battle on Eden where the Horsemen, obeying the will of the Council, annihilated the Nephilim.
Still reeling from the events on Eden, WAR and STRIFE have been given a new assignment -- LUCIFER, the enigmatic and deceptive demon king, has been plotting to upset the Balance by granting power to master demons throughout Hell. War and Strife must hunt down these masters, gather information, and ultimately fight their way through a tangled, demonic conspiracy that threatens to forever upset the Balance and unravel all of creation.
DARKSIDERS: GENESIS is an action/adventure game that tears its way through hordes of demons, angels, and everything in-between on its way to Hell and back with guns blazing and swords swinging. Genesis gives players their first look at the world of DARKSIDERS before the events of the original game, as well as introduces the horseman STRIFE.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... It's good to hear Sammy's voice again. If Darksiders had the best villain in all of fiction who always seems to helps the good guys out it would be good ol' Samael.

Dunno how I feel with Genesis being a prequel, kinda make sense due naming conventions and the vast diferent playstyle of it but still... Admidetly I don't know how 3 ends to know if that story need an ending point or not in like a new game (I'm watching Wander series yet) so yeah.
Also with War meeting Vulgrim and Samael in this game won't like clash with how he meets in 1? I don't remember how was the first time War meet with them in the first game in a way of "Are you this demon?"
In the first game War gave the impression that at the very least he knew who Vulgrim was accusing the Council of consorting with lowly demons when they mentioned that Vulgrim could help War. Even when the two met they never acted like this was their first time meeting; Vulgrim even commented on War's "subtlety" like he was having witty banter with an old acquaintance. In the end I think that the writers made sure that no one is a true stranger in the Darksiders universe. Everyone knows everyone because everyone has done something to warrant the attention of everyone else.

Okay so uh, Strife is actually voiced by Chris Jai Alex in this game, and feel like I know who voices Moloch but I can't remember the dude's name. o_o
It seems they have also missed a conversation....wich could be optional lore, dialogue or maby secret missions
I think there is no character outlines because you are playing split-screen co-op, I have seen a few videos, and they have character outlines when they go behind scenery.
How can I create and join to a different console?
I really hope there will still be a Darksiders 4, not saying genesis will be a bad game, personally I prefer the game play of the older games, this seams more old school than the older ones.
IIRC THQ Nordic has already confirmed Darksiders 4 will happen.
