I learned about Faerie through Peter Pan. Of course they aren't like that, but that helped me learn about the Fae Folk. I believed in them since I was a child, and I love to talk to them. I wish I had a tree here to sit under and talk to them more or have a faerie tree. I love to know more since there is so much to know!

You know...I found the subject of Fae utterly fascinating and I've been drawn to it since birth.
Do you think....people like me, I'm African American/black, but I have Irish blood and a Scott-Irish last name. My life has been plagued w/ highly strange, spiritual and paranormal events. My family doesn't believe in faeries yet I've grown up naturally believing in such things. A lot of my experiences are shamanistic, psychic and seer related. These spirits seem to know if your connected to them.... it's Earth shattering and unnerving, but something that use to terrify me...now brings me great comfort. My psychic skills are hard to fathom and it operates like a low him in the background. I'm sensitive, can see things when I close my eyes and when I sleep....I'm spoken to. I hear voices...like it's coming through my pillow but not. I've been called "a 🐦" and something keeps calling my name. Spirits are very real. I grew up seeing white ladies, men with horns or antlers in the sky, spirits in trees and rocks, hearing music, experienced missing time, astral travel and enchantments.
I was raised Christian/Baptist, but none of this computes with the religion. So, I kinda consider myself paganistic and spiritual. All I can do is research to uncover info that makes sense.
What should I do in this situation?

Raise your vibrations and you'll get closer to whatever spirit wants you to be- spirit the universe will lead you to the path listen to your visions and readings.
BTW I'm black with Irish ancestry and my mother is a shaman.

I resonate with all of what you have said. I have found in my journey, that sometimed they are a part of us that we may have lost at sometime.
They are very much real. I am a seer, I have seen fae, and am surrounded by them And I adore them. 🧚‍♀
Would you be a Libra by any chance? Or an air sign? 😊
Something that came to mind when you mentioned religion, I believe we have been mislead to follow that which is without us. I always follow within never without. We are the ones we have been waiting for. We know the way. Follow and adore yourself like the God and goddess we/you/i am. 💫

@@jessiejames1455 Hi, I try to follow that inner road, but it's murky. Lol
Usually I'm led by my intuition...unless I don't listen to it. Than often then no I end up getting into bad situations... 😅
No. I'm a Cancer. Tons of water in my chart, but my moon sign is in Gemini and that's prominent. In sidereal astrology...it's pretty airy. Earth barely exists though no matter what.

Fantastic video. Your energy is so calm and peaceful, and the topic is absolutely fascinating. I love how you mentioned the various connections Celtic mysticism and belief in the fairies have to other cultures. The cultures of our ancestors WERE indeed much more connected and had much more in common than some modern so-called Pagans who try to twist things to fit nationalist/racist views think. Keep doing what you do. Blessed be.

I've heard the theory that John the Baptist was a celt. Also, it's interesting to hear how inner earth myth, the tribe of Dan, Atlantean migration patterns and the red headed Aryans of Enochian scripture all have their moment in this location of the world, too. What an amazing time to be a researcher.

Jonny, wonderful videos first of all. I can see that you believe, and you may be a bit fae yourself. I have seen faeries, and have studied them for many years. Being Sottish, there is a deep respect for The Good People, and my Grad Da and Great Granmother( who lived to be 112) told me stories of them. They even said that a few of the women in our family were Selkie's, and that is why we are drawn to the sea with such longing in our hearts. I was born with a caul on my head and my Great Granmother kept it in a box. That as long as she had the caul she said, I would never drown ! So far so good. lol The thing that I have found is that every culture has Good Folk. In Hawaii they have menehune's which are much like our faeries, but a wee more mischievous. I could go on and on but don't want to take up your time reading this. Just keep looking with your heart Jonny, and they will find you. Look tween the trees by the water, and that is where they are.
Mhà agad a bhith a 'sireadh sìolmhor, agus ann an lorg thu a' fàs glic.

Here is a poem By Goethe, a German poet you may enjoy, it is about elves. Would love to hear you read this as well......
      The Erl-King
      Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
Who's riding so late where winds blow wild
      It is the father grasping his child;
He holds the boy embraced in his arm,
He clasps him snugly, he keeps him warm.
"My son, why cover your face in such fear?"
      "You see the elf-king, father?
He's near! The king of the elves with crown and train!"
"My son, the mist is on the plain."
'Sweet lad, o come and join me, do!
      Such pretty games I will play with you;
On the shore gay flowers their color unfold,
My mother has many garments of gold.'
"My father, my father, and can you not hear
The promise the elf-king breathes in my ear?"
"Be calm, stay calm, my child, lie low:
In withered leaves the night-winds blow."
'Will you, sweet lad, come along with me?
      My daughters shall care for you tenderly;
In the night my daughters their revelry keep,
They'll rock you and dance you and sing you to sleep.'
"My father, my father, o can you not trace
The elf-king's daughters in that gloomy place?"
"My son, my son, I see it clear
How grey the ancient willows appear."
'I love you, your comeliness charms me, my boy!
And if you're not willing, my force I'll employ.'
"Now father, now father, he's seizing my arm.
Elf-king has done me a cruel harm."
The father shudders, his ride is wild,
In his arms he's holding the groaning child,
Reaches the court with toil and dread. -
The child he held in his arms was dead.

He's been here for 30 years and has only chosen to show himself to me once but he makes his presence know. He has sticky fingers and takes my leather gloves. He hangs around in my berry bushes and has called out to me by mimicking what I say. He's a trickster for sure but only harmless pranks. I love the little guy and leave him gifts in my tree. Your wealth of knowledge is much appreciated! I've been fascinated with Celtic culture for much of my life. A particular channeler I follow named Brad Johnson says he's spoken to the fae. I found it interesting that Danu's people were driven out of Ireland. He says that at one time, the fae were persecuted and labeled as fallen angels, so they decided to leave this dimension until humans could learn to appreciate them. Perhaps Danu's people being driven out happened alongside this.

N K Sandars identified the Cauldron of Gundestrup.in his Pre historic Art of Europe to be actually an artefact originating in Thrace. His arguments for correcting the earlier believed Celtic origin. The presence of the Griffin, the Ivy plant and the surface tracings for the fur covering the animals. More than that Alain Danielou a French Indologist in Gods of Love and Ecstasy shows that the human figure is in the Badhrasana yoga position similar to the skeleton discovered in Lepenski Vir culture that is in S Thrace. I wrote this because the clip cover is from.the Cauldron of Gundestrup where the cauldron was found in a peat bog. Most likely carried there from Thrace. The discoveries in Bulgaria S Thrace are shedding more light. Both NK Sandars and A Danielou are scholars of high international standing.

Hello, I was just wondering if you believe in faeries as actual beings that are out there somewhere, vs just fascinating parts of folklore. If you said it, I may have missed it. Thanks!

    • @JonnyEnoch33
      @JonnyEnoch33  Před 7 lety +9

Yes, I believe in faeries as actual beings. But it's a little more complicated than what we're being told. I've discussed the faerie faith in other videos around Ireland, but in a future video we'll go into great detail about the honeycomb like inner-earth, its civilizations, ancient migrations and the cataclysms which have plagued the surface of our beautiful planet for a very long time. In a nutshell, J.R.R. Tolkien got a lot of things right!

“Galacia” is a Celtic name originating from the Celtic tribe known as the “Caellici” a name which seems no different from the Celtic goddess “cailli” and “Caillic” whose origin is “Kalika” the Vedic Mother goddess also known as Mother “Kali”.
    ~
“Galacia” is a province of Spain, it occupies 6% of the Spanish landmass and 6% of the Spanish population. Its ancient Celtic history goes back to at least 600 B.C, its people the “Galatians” take pride in their ancient Celtic heritage and their modern city of “Lugo” is named after the Celtic god “Lugh” who was the “master of skills”.
    ~
“Ptolemy” the Greek astrologer writes in his encyclopaedia “Natural History” that the Celtic tribe known as the “Callaeci” which gives us the name “Galacia” means “those who worship the Cailleach”. The “Cailleach” are the “Caillic” the Celtic goddess whose source is the Vedic goddess “Kalika” and “Kali”.
    ~
“Galatia” was also the name of an ancient region of Turkey covering the provinces of “Ankara” “Corum” and “Yozgat” its name coming from the Celts who settled there some 2300 years ago. Throughout Turkey the worship of the Mother goddess was once very prominent, it was the home of the female warriors known as the “Amazons” and we also find “Mount Ida” whose name means “the mountain of the Mother goddess”.
    ~
So just as within the country of Turkey we find the region of “Gallipoli” whose original name was “Kalipoli” as in “the city ( puri ) of Kali” we also have “Galatia” known by the Romans as “Gallia” and this seems to have its source in the Celtic Mother goddess “Cailli” and “Caillic” from the Vedic “Kalika” and “Kali”.
    ~
“Galicia” was also the name of a major Kingdom found throughout Eastern Europe and which once held portions of Poland and modern day Ukraine and we also find it as a village in Northern Cyprus famous for its grape and wine festivals.
    ~
“Gaul” was an historic region of Western Europe which covered “France” “Luxembourg” “Belgium” “Switzerland” “Netherlands” “Germany” and parts of “Northern Italy”. It may also be related to “Galicia” and it may also give us the word “Gaelic” a language of the Celts, though the academics strongly deny this.
    ~
This Celtic Mother goddess “Cailli” is the daughter of “Grian” the Celtic name for the god of the Sun. “Grian” comes from the Sanskrit root “ghr” meaning to “burn” to “shine” and “ghrna” meaning “heat” “warmth” “sunshine” and this becomes “ghrni” meaning the “Sun” which is the source of the Celtic “Grian” the father of “Cailli” the Celtic Mother goddess.
    ~
The Celts worshipped the “goddess” they appeared throughout Ireland as the “Teuatta De Danam” the “children of the goddess Danu” an ancient Vedic goddess of the waters. Throughout Ireland we also find the Celtic goddess “Bovind” the “white cow goddess” who manifests as the river “Boyne” and which is very much related to the Vedic “Govinda” the “lover of the cows”. Historian, novelist and foremost expert on Celtic culture “Peter Beresford Ellis” says the following.
    ~
”The Goddess Boann, whose name means “white cow” gave her name to the river Boyne. She was mother to Aonghus Og, the love God and was called “Guou - uinda” or “cow finder”. Now this appears almost exactly the same as the Vedic name “Govinda” the epithet for Lord Krsna.”
    ~
“ Among the ancient Celts “Danu” was regarded as the "Mother Goddess." The Irish Gods and Goddesses were the Tuatha De Danaan ( Children of Danu ). “Danu” was the "divine waters" falling from heaven and nurturing “Bíle” the sacred oak from whose acorns their children sprang. Moreover, the waters of “Danu” went on to create the great Celtic sacred river “Danuvius” today called the “Danube”. Many European rivers bear the name of “Danu” the Rhône ( ro- Dhanu "Great Danu") and several rivers called “Don”. Rivers were sacred in the Celtic world and places where votive offerings were deposited and burials often conducted."
    ~
"The Druids of the ancient Celtic world have a startling kinship with the brahmins of the Hindu religion and were, indeed, a parallel development from their common Indo-European cultural root which began to branch out probably five thousand years ago. It has been only in recent decades that Celtic scholars have begun to reveal the full extent of the parallels and cognates between ancient Celtic society and Vedic culture. The very name Druid is composed of two Celtic word roots which have parallels in Sanskrit, indeed, the root vid for knowledge, which also emerges in the Sanskrit word Veda, demonstrates the similarity. The Celtic root dru which means "immersion" also appears in Sanskrit. So a Druid was one immersed in knowledge." Peter Beresford Ellis.

Loved your video! I believe the "world tree" you speak of is the Yggdrasil. A gigantic ash tree symbolic of the world. Its foliage always remained green, one root reached far down into the nether world, its boughs ascended to heaven. Another underground root was a source of streams, while wisdom flowed from a fountain emanating from still another root. On the topmost branches was a golden rooster that warned the gods of danger, while below the tree was a horn that would announce the final battle. Animals, demons and monsters gnawed away at the tree, but the Norns, who lived under the third root, constantly renewed the destroyed parts. Sourced from one of me old college books :) The Dictionary of Classical, Biblical, & Literary Allusions written by Abraham H. Lass, David Kiremidjian, & Ruth M. Goldstein.

Thanks for this very interesting and informative video, i've always felt very connected to the celtic world, even though i have no celtic ancestry that i'm aware of, i've always loved celtic music, been infatuated with the celtic world, when i heard about the celtic mythologies i immediately fell in love with it. I've had flashes of ancient gaulish style villages and ancient celtic people during meditations, been infatuated with the Irish, British, Scottish and French nature (especially that of northern France), funnily enough Cernunnos was the first celtic god i learned of and has always been my favorite of the celtic pantheon. I think i may have to look into this some more. I'm from Denmark so it's a bit hard to get your hands on books on Celtic mythology and belief here, but it seems to me there may have been some forgotten connection between Denmark and the ancient celtic world, why else would you find an ancient Gaulish cauldron depicted with Cernunnos in a bog in Denmark, the cauldron was likely an offering, as it was very common to throw offerings in peat bogs in iron age Denmark (both items and people), there could have even been a cult of celtic worship here in the iron age, as evidenced by the offering of the Gundestrup cauldron, implying a significant importance to the people offering it and also human sacrifices in Danish peat bogs that resemble the celtic triple death style of human sacrifice, drowning, hanging and the slitting of the throat, i'm not a historian, though, so it's just a thought.

Shiva is generally shown sitting in meditative yogic posture wearing animal skin and a snake around his neck and/or arm..
His one of the many names is "Yogeshwara- lord of yoga/meditation". Just observe how his heel of right leg is touching the Mooladhaar chakra region near pelvic joint!!
Also, similar Pashupati-seal was excavated from the Indus valley civilization sites..
