  • Ingco Impact Driver Review. I was sent this by Ingco a tool company thats been around for about 2 years on Amazon. They have a huge following on Facebook and have impressive branding on their tools and batteries which leads me to believe they're not just looking for a quick buck.
    If I had to categorize their tools, I'd say they were built with the handyman in mind. A step up above DIYers and 2 steps up above the average homeowner. Their tools offer a 3 year warranty.
    Do I think this tool is good? I do. I like the ergonomics of it, it's not the most powerful but it's powerful enough for as I said, the handyman on down. It also has a good light and it has a smart feature where it will drive bolts out slowly at first then build speed once it knows its loose. That's something you generally only find in higher end impact drivers.
    Will it go the distance? I don't know. Will they warrant the tool if it breaks? I believe they will no problem, but will they be around in 3 years? I don't know! For now, if the pricing was $89 for the kit I'd say this was a good deal for sure. Remove 1 battery and make it $79 and you definitely have something I could recommend on a regular basis.
    For a limited time you can get this kit for $99 using the code: ULAZP5HT
    Ingco Impact Driver: amzn.to/3Or7NmJ
    Ingco Amazon Store: amzn.to/3oi4kfB
    While that's not terrible for all that you're getting, this is Tool Deals and there are other deals out there that are comparable or better such as:
    Masterforce Impact Driver (larger and 1 less battery; but more powerful) $99: tinyurl.com/27w4m9hx
    Milwaukee M12 Gen 3 impact driver kit $99: homedepot.sjv.io/kjvYkz
    Join the Facebook Group! I post deals there when I'm not able to make a video. Plus, get advice from other pros in the industry.

    I live in South Africa and here Ingco is a massive brand atleast where I live and I think the main reason for that is because in comparison to brands such as makita and bosch it is very cheap especially with our weaker currency so in many cases it makes alot more sense to buy them instead of a name brand such as makita theyre also constantly improving wich is always a good sign at the moment of writing this comment they have released a huge new variety of tools such as pressure washers and air tools and I must say I am exited to see what innovations are next.

      I just bought one of these and so far I am very impressed. I think for home use you cannot go wrong with Ingco. Takealot has a deal on these. You can buy three if these kits for the price of one Makita or Dewalt (tool only). So for the average user I dont see why you need to pay that much money

      Bought one as well, waiting for my delivery from takealot … I’m more of a DIY person so this won’t work under too much strain like workshop daily tools. Great deals on takealot got one that comes with 3x batteries, 2x chargers, socket set and a storage case.

    Inco is getting really popular in Trinidad and Tobago. Its a budget brand with little trust in the construction community however its reasonably priced therefore a lot of contractors and technicians buy for big projects and leave there better tool at home

    • @ToolDeals
      @ToolDeals  Před 2 lety +1

      That's not a bad way to go. This impact driver wouldn't be good at driving big lag bolts, but for most applications it'll work just fine. I'd definitely use it in the same way you mentioned.

    • @ToolDeals
      @ToolDeals  Před 2 lety +2

      Agreed. Currently you have Milwaukee M12, or even Masterforce. Metabo HPT also has a deal where you get a 4AH 36V battery and triple hammer impact for $79 BEFORE the Menard's rebate. Then there's Metabo... I could go on. DeWALT's 12V deal.
      Based on the comments, I'm hearing that this price range is good overseas though. So I'm thinking that their target audience should probably be places like that.

    Bro. from everything I have researched, people are saying that the INGCO brand of power tools and the TOTAL brand of powertools are basically identical for the most part. It's like how some companies may approach a manufacture and ask them to "make a drill and slap my branding on it".
    These brands supposedly have a big presence in the South-East Asian market presently. Huge stores etc. The also cover a HUGE range of stuff... I don't mean power tools only. They have generators, string trimmers, general hand tools like pliers, socket sets, drill bits etc.; generators, string trimmers, safety harnesses.... the list goes on. To ME, that's just a huge red flag in my opinion. A relatively obscure brand coming out of seemingly nowhere, with all this stuff in such a short space of time? That just screams generic.
    Generic isn't too bad if the price suits it and if the tool isn't just "disposable", otherwise It's just making more junk and plastic to fill up a landfill (and the worst part is some resellers think they can sell this brand at big brand prices, ridiculous). I have heard online in some videos and forums of instances where people are not getting support for defective products. Just dead silence. I personally think they want to get plenty of advertising and middle men on board based on the rate I am seeing these outlets pop up. Don't be surprised that they are indeed a brand that's gonna disappear once they reach a certain sales quota, leaving all these middle men with stuff they can't sell once the durability issues become more well known.
    I HOPE I'm wrong, but I feel very skeptical.... and this push seems *WAYYYY* too fast.

    • @ToolDeals
      @ToolDeals  Před 2 lety +1

      I totally understand your sentiment. You're also correct. When too many things come out like that, you can be pretty confident it's some white label stuff. Which isn't entirely bad. Chervon supposedly does it with Masterforce. But the quality is better.
      The landfills... man, that's EXACTLY why I only really recommend stuff from big brands. You want something built to last. Plus, no one wants to keep dealing with warranty issues. Thanks for the comment!

    With the deals that Home Depot has on Milwaukee, Ridgid and Ryobi right now, there's no point in getting this thing haha. Home Depot is on fire right now. I spent more money there on tools in the last 2 weeks than I thought I'd ever spend in a lifetime, and that's mainly because I've been able to flip the extra tools for 40% under retail prices and still get to keep a ton of tools while making a profit. It really is crazy how cheap some stuff is right now. That $99 Ridgid brushless 2 tool 2 battery deal is insane.

    • @ToolDeals
      @ToolDeals  Před 2 lety

      Awww man here you go, you need to watch more of my videos LOL. I like Ryobi's lawn care tools, lawnmowers, blowers, trimmers, etc. I also have their honda GX motor pressure washer, but power tools? Yuk! Waaayyyy better options out there. If you occasionally use them, their newer brushless tools are fine. But for the price, you can get a Milwaukee, or Metabo, or Metabo HPT, or Makita or DeWALT if a good deal pops up and usually, there's always a good deal up.

    • @enthused7591
      @enthused7591 Před 2 lety

      I've had good luck with even Ryobi's older cheap brushed 1/4 impact drivers, drills, recip saws, but other than that - go Milwaukee or Ridgid and get a combo kit on sale for a great deal. Dewalt's great too but I never find great deals on Dewalt.

    These guys have good tools but their batteries are not consistent. One battery is different from another in the same kit. So on one battery the tool would be good but on the other battery no and the battery just drains very fast. Try using it on some other brand battery with an adapter.
