I just finished the last video of you beating Legendary with all 4 heroes, and I must say, good job! I liked your McCree the most, you did well with the crits. I, on the other hand, haven't gotten past the heavies at the end yet, but, I believe I can and will! Console might make it a little harder though. : p Anyway, well done again and thanks for the videos!
Nice runs. I'm getting more confident and I'm closer. I can beat this mode! The no deaths run...geez, that one is crazy, accidents happen all the time.
Tense last part with those two heavies. I've not been able to beat those yet, as a solo queuer it's hard to get the gang to all circle the same way, there's always someone who panic flees and dies, feels like. Also lol that Genji kind of got his ass carried at the end there, dying every two seconds. You guys were basically a 3 man team trying to constantly deal with killing heavies AND res someone. I suspect he kept trying to deflect those heavies which doesn't work well for genji AT ALL, as his deflect time is shorter than the heavies shooting, so you're either gonna get shot at the start or end of the deflect. Not worth the risk. Moira was a hella great healer there too, really kept everyone topped up and prevented a lot more deaths than otherwise would be.
the sad part being that Genji has the highest dps vs. the 2 heavies, and all he has to do is hit "E" and then dash to his teammates I've never played Genji because I'm too old to learn him mechanically now, but even when I was forced into the role I never played, I learnt very quickly how and where to use him. His deflect does an INSANE amount of damage to the heavies, far more than the other characters. So I used that to tank for the team as we kited. McCree dealt ranged damage, and Reyes's job was to lead our path and combat any trooper's that were behind us as we moved. We circled the entire area till they dropped. God it felt good.
That's what I'd like; a team that knows the limitations of their character and plays their roles. I'm all good with people making mistakes and fucking up, but you can usually tell the difference between a fuck up and someone who's just trying to make their e-peen bigger by getting top kills/dmg and throwing themselves into risky situations. :< I solo queued and completed expert the other day! Was pretty damn satisfying even if it's not quite as hard as legendary, but hey it was a personal achievement for me. Got lucky with a team who all played their part and stayed safe, used cover well vs heavies, knew what to focus on and where to position etc. I was left with McCree to play who I've never considered myself amazing at, but damn felt nice to keep popping off headshot after headshot on AI and getting crazy damage output on the specials, plus timing the flashbang to riiiight before the assassin is about the run off again to extend their stun so they can be taken down in one go is satisfying as hell. xD
Congratz on completing Expert on story mode, even I know how easily it can go from certain victory, to nightmare scenario in a flash. Legendary is barely any different from Expert. Just one additional sniper on the bridge part, and an additional heavy at the end. I say keep going, but please DO take breaks every few failures. Tilting happens extremely fast when you have multiple rounds on the last phase, only to fail. Take breaks, drink water, make a cup of instant noodles, relax your body and mind from fatigue and then go again. I did that, and found a group that worked for me. I failed at the end, but we all knew we had it down. Just needed to know the pathway for us to take. 2 rounds later, we all walked away with our Legendary mode completed achievement. It worked for me, and I KNOW you can do it too. With that said, congratz on Expert once again, that's no small feat.
