Frankie Knuckles played this record a lot at his Friday night residency at Sound Factory Bar (and elsewhere), but the remix is by Winston Jones & Dave Shaw
Musically Magical Era of Time: Sound Factory Bar! Frankie & D-Fox & others in the DJ booth! Coincidentally I just found the remix LP in the attic yesterday! Chaka’s pure fire n fun here & elsewhere! I’ll not speak on Warsaw on South Beach but equally delicious and delightfully magnanimously magical….
1000% true Garage / house music ...slick production , flawless vocals , perfect tempo , Basically this is a heavyweight slate YOU NEED THIS RECORD ......
My favorite mix of this song. I had the maxi cd. Remember those days when you would buy 1 track from an album and it had multiple mixes. Ah, the 90's. Great time in music!! Especially house/r&b and hip hop.
...THIS, Kids, brought CK into the 90's...by way of 'HOUSE'! ...Actually, this mix was ahead of it's time (rel. Summer of 1992); the keyboards & groove clearly inspired the 90's CLASSIC Dance track, "Show Me Love" by Robin S. (rel. Feb. 1993)....This was an EPIC mix, in so many ways: 1. ...clocking in at 12 minutes (in 2 parts), this somewhat was one of the first 'Diva' mixes that would inspire Junior Vasquez, Danny Tenaglia, David Morales, etc. to 'extend' their mixes to longer lengths, notably Whitney Houston's "My Love Is Your Love (Johnathan Peters Mix)" which reached 16+ Minutes, in length in 1999... 2. David Shaw actually did this mix, but since Frankie Knuckles played it so often, HE'S thought to have done it; but, it got CK back in the graces of (Gay) Black & White audiences, collectively (It got played at The Roxy, Sound Factory (& SFBar), Shelter, Body & Soul, etc.), which brought her further into the 90's, with MORE Dance mixed material.... 3. This mix influenced what "90's House" would sound like, helping other Hit remixes with similar productions (Robin S. - "Show Me Love", Gabrielle - "Dreams", Martha Wash - "Give It To You", etc. ..) .... leave it to Dance Legend CK...She's not just "Every Woman", she's the ULTIMATE 'Garage Diva'!!!
Reminds me of Paradox at 4am...and the hottie in the corner musters up the courage to dance with you...and the connection is so great that you dance together for the rest of the night

Absolute class 🔥❤️🔥
Werrrrrk
I love this record, it's 🔥!
It's too bad it's NOT a virtual turntable vinyl on CZcams. 🤨
Of course it’s on vinyl! ♥️ Go to Discogs and order to your hearts content. 👌😁
@@Onlythatfunkyshit;
I don't do discogs... there should be a virtual vinyl version of it for CZcams! 🤨
A lot of these tracks on youtube are recorded from vinyl, just gotta dig for the right ones. ♥️
On the CD format to this single this mix is broken into 2 mixes. On vinyl format they play as one mix.
"Normally, I don't 'do' disco."
Love her but her high notes can be a little on the nerves.
@E Cannon I echo that. This person needs their ears testing. Dear me. They said they love her yet criticizes her notes! LOL
Clutching my pearls!
I got the vapors!
Not everyone can appreciate high voltage belts with finesse, their loss!
