It’s unfortunate hook ups are selling for so much now days after all the new age anime fans got into anime… I need to start grabbing some, I had two as 8-11 year old kid lol not sure what made me like the graphics that young but that’s as simple as it was that made me pick them. Them days of circling things in ccs I wanted and playing with tech decks in the early 2000s 😢

So are these just made for Wallart? Ive been meaning to pick up a Hook-Ups Board, but i was worried that they would made from Cheap Wood that is Unskateable.. Especially seeing most of them are Full Dipped, I can't find any source that can vouch for Full Dipped Boards as being "Skateable" either.
They are great for skating as well as wall art-high quality wood, the company has been around for nearly 30 years! I skated one and enjoyed it

Your Naughty Geisha 2 is a reprint the Hook Up font is not like the OG another tell is the Japanese text above the HU text not found on a OG. Having said that still a nice find also Miko came in white prior to the black one. Keep hunting
so on originals, there is no Japanese text?
@@mastachief16 Yes that is one quick tell if a board is a reprint. I'm glad Jeremy does that to clearly let collectors know a reprint from an OG from like the red cross era

@@hathatfigures3663 Ok for sure. I bought the "Drinkin' Sakura" board for about $100 but there is not Japanese text. Does that mean its an OG? Or is there just only 1 print of it so far and that's why there is not Japanese text. And ty for the quick reply!
@@mastachief16 That board came out on like 95 I think the top graphic will be the rifle scope logo. Thats another way to tell is the top logos
