Hi I commented last week for first time. I have been diamond painting since 2019. I AM 67 LIVE IN Northern California in the redwoods. Beautiful area. I have 5 grown children, 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter!
I have health problems and seem to be a mystery. I have a foot that collapsed and turns outward so I walk on the inside and have a pressure wound that never heals. I also have fibromylagia, osteoarthritis, degenerative disc disease, and diabetes for 3 years now. And waiting to have surgery for prolapse bladder and uterus! Also I have developed a condition where food gets stuck in my chest like a spam. After coughing and gagging I actually feel it let go. Had 2 scopes tests, nothing abnormal. Said dilating wouldn't help. Did swallow test all they said was that I digest my food very slowly.
Sorry this is so long. I was listening to you share about your "Bonus" Son. I never liked the term "Stepmom or son daughter" So I use the term Bonus daughter/son. I am their Bonus Mom! Even as adults they smile when I introduce them.

I am so glad that the new meds are working for you and the new breathing machine is helping too. I can actually hear that your breathing while talking seems some better. It's so great that you were feeling good enough to attend and enjoy the graduation and could make all those memories with him and your family. Have a good week!

Pretty new to the community, Maureen here. I have HEDS and Osteoporosis and fibromyalgia. Diamond painting has really helped me find community and not feel so alone ❤️❤️❤️

Hi Alysa! Thanks for all the updates! I'm on Symbicort too for my allergies and boy it does help! I'm sure for my botox injections, my hand is cramping up.
The stuff with my parents is just too long to describe. Let's just say it's very stressful. It does help that I have people that I can talk to and understand.

Thank you! Sleep definitely can affect my day! The dragons name is Lily. She is very cute and trusts me now so likes to be handled. We spend some time in the sun everyday which she seems to enjoy.
We go to a Christian HS and they have similar awards. What an amazing achievement for him ❤❤ i got the make up set and will work on them this weekend when we go to the coast and stay at the ocean. Will be praying for your continued health and the Surgeries can get scheduled in a timely manner.

There is no pain like gall bladder attack pain. I for one never wanted to experience it a second time. I had mine removed the same day I had the attack. I hope you can have your surgery asap so you never have to go through that torture again. 🙏
Thank you very much!! I am on the waitlist! I kinda wish I stayed in the hospital to fast track It but the way things are they couldn't get the ultrasound done for about a week or so.
@@thediamondstitcher I was very fortunate, I had it all done right then and there. I can still remember the pain and that was in 1996😵💫 I hope you don’t have to wait much longer. 🙏

Hi Alysa... praying your health continues to improve. I hope to establish many friendships. My hubby and I are retired, he has health issues so we deal with that asbest we can. I spend a lot of time in my craft room wishing I had friends to talk to and diamond paint with.

I got the Diner and Make Up mini dazzlers since those were the only ones left lol. Currently working on the Diner version and I'm loving it. I am, however, finding it hard to use the putty that came with the pen when it comes to the AB drills but it could just be me not knowing how to put it properly lol. I'm getting more used to it so it could be that as well
Both cute kits! It could also be your climate regarding the putty I know I have heard some people say it sticks.
I’m looking forward to getting the flower mini dazzler kit. It’s sold out but DAC will send me an email when it’s in stock. I’m currently working on DAC Jasper Sea by Brizbazaar so I have plenty to keep me busy. I’ve got degenerative back pain so I spend the majority of my time in my recliner so thank goodness I love diamond painting. I’m a retired teacher & I did retire early bc of my health. I missed it a lot at first bc teaching was my passion, but now I’ve adjusted. I have 2 daughters that are adopted from Korea bc I was unable to have children. They’re a joy to me. I won’t be a grandmother bc my eldest daughter had to have a hysterectomy bc of major female issues & my youngest hasn’t been able to get pregnant bc of her health issues & medications she’s on long term. But I have a lot of granddogs & grandcats as well as 2 one year old cats of my own. Mango & Pixie keep my arms & legs completely covered in scratches & scabs bc it’s a game for them! I’m a care giver for my 94 yo dad & he’s mostly independent except he’s no longer able to drive. That’s something I can do without pain so it works out fine. He likes to cook his own food & do his own laundry so I’ve got it pretty easy living here in his home. My bedroom has become my favorite place. I’ve got it packed with all my diamond painting crafts & everything else I can get jam packed in here. I’m an introvert & prefer to text rather than be on the phone. Anyway, I wanted to share a bit-or maybe a lot!-about myself. I always enjoy your videos. Best wishes for continued improvement in your health. 🥰 My real name is Elaine.
You will love working on the flower dazzler kit! I am sorry to hear you deal with degenerative back pain. I experience this in my neck and some days are horrendous. It does take quite the adjustment when health forces us to slow down. My brother teaches English in South Korea and has is own school now. He married a Korean lady and they have 2 boys now in high school and university! I went over there one summer years ago it was a beautiful country. Animals bring me so much joy too! I tried a craft ease square from a year ago and the drills didn't fit together nicely. They were acrylic and very tabby. Haven't tried one of their rounds.
I remember that video now. I've started placing the rounds so far they are ok. Ill see if they've made any changes to their squares yet.

To be honest, I don't like how the all-fairy-dust minis look, they lack depth, in the sense that you can't distinguish different shades as you would with normal drills for some reason. I thought it would be a dream to have a canvas with only fairy dust drills, but now I wouldn't want that.
I wonder if they will do some of them with normal diamonds?
I am so sorry you’re going through all of his medical issues and then on top of it to have a doctor. Leave you on the wrong piece of equipment for that many years. Oh my goodness!😡
Yes it is quite infuriating. I am hoping they investigate him and hopefully prevent other patients from experiencing the same thing.
