      Agree I always think it looks better without the stickers 😬 I never like them, I think they take away from the piece big time. Her pieces are beautiful, she’s to critical but I also get it because I am to.

    On No! I feel your frustration, but it is still very beautiful. The green combination, in my opinion, was perfect. The day you get your perfect daisy, your viewers will be rewinding the video and taking down notes!! Lol. Thanks for the lesson. I am looking forward to seeing the next project. Much love from Northwestern Pennsylvania USA ❤!

    Because it looks like Lemon Lime and the white looks like Coconut Milk color.

    Julie, I don't resin, but enjoy your videos. Regarding your centers, have you tried using a dome insert in the center of your mold, then when you unmold, you would have a perfectly centered indented area to put your glass beads in clear resin. Would that work?

  • @margaretdillinger5090
    @margaretdillinger5090 Před 6 měsíci

    I use a Resin that states in the directions Not to measure by weight. It is a 1:1 resin by volume only. It is called Naked Fusion Artist Resin. They specifically state to measure the parts in any other way may cause the resin to improperly or incompletely cure. It really does matter what the resin company has designed the resin to work so read and follow any instructions that may come with your chosen resin. Such a beautiful coaster! Thank you, Julie!❤❤❤

  • @mywifetheartist
    @mywifetheartist Před 6 měsíci

    It is pretty. Maybe a fast push. But I really don’t know. I thought putting the glitter in the middle stop the resin to move to the center. Oh gosh. I really don’t know either. I read lots of the comments and maybe do as the manufacturer suggests as for as the volume. Maybe that is why??😊

  • @Weeks25
    @Weeks25 Před 6 měsíci +1

    What about gluing one of those little centers you made up to the outside of the center? I wonder how that would look. I would try a resin that doesn’t cure so fast to give it time to close in the center 🤷🏼‍♀️

  • @gailbrown8710
    @gailbrown8710 Před 6 měsíci

    Very pretty. Maybe if you did mix 1 to 1 maybe it might close up. I'm certainly no expert, as mine all turn out horrible since I'm new to this.🤪

  • @Admiral_Lynx89
    @Admiral_Lynx89 Před 6 měsíci

    It may just be that the Pro Marine (and by extension the Daisy Belly even with other resins) doesn't like being forced to cure faster than it would more slowly in an average (or at least cooler) room temperature. Across all the Daisy attempts the middle is always blown very wide, which makes it seem like the white resin _can't_ move in to give you those petals you want. It's worth testing, even though you've noted that you don't move any of your resin projects to a quicker cure before they stop moving.
    I know it's hard to be patient--you've said as much in a fair few videos already 🤭--but this one genuinely might be a matter of letting it take all the time it needs to get where you want it. Too much of a middle push may also be why you get a lot of the 'stretch' you don't want, but the idea of layers of long to medium to short is probably the intention up to a point. The white also can't be any lighter, or it would just float instead of blooming out for that 3D-ness that is the goal of any resin flower.
    Others who actually _have_ made this flower would know a lot more than me. I can only make inferences based on what we get at the end of all your cool videos, since I haven't actually worked with any resin art yet. Saying that, I have thought that a "double daisy" where you portion off a smaller clear starting push, and add a much smaller white puddle (or equal split if that fails spectacularly) in the middle of that, followed by the big remaining amount of the clear may be the method to break through that limitation on the resin qualities that international shipping imposes.

    You have tried everything but you have not tried using different amount on your ring pours .. what if you reversed your amount by working the larger pour on the outside working to the smallest amount to be poured in the center last pour …

    Is a shame. Watch Calli’s video from today, she also did a daisy belly, but she used different amounts and just about got it to close and had nice petals.
