Marketing Director Weston Schrank covers his 2023 saddle hunting setup, specifically tailored for the grind of the rut and all day sits. Minimal and all day rut hunting sits with cold weather do not exactly marry together well. A lot of gear means a lot of weight, more sweating, and increases suffrage... This build is tailored to keep things minimal (besides the self filming gear), but work with taking everything needed from food, water, calls, etc.

Does the waist belt interfere with your dump pouches while climbing?
No I actually tuck both behind me before climbing just so it doesn’t, and the one thing I forgot to mention is that the waist belt doubles as knee pad to rest your kneees against.
Is there enough room there for jacket and bibs
Yes, when your not running several snacks, or tuppleware for lunch, or internal container...you can fit a hoodie, Thick bibs would be a stretch, but thats why you just fold nice, roll it, and cinch strap it on top of the pack.
