I’m so glad this exists. I like the sounds of this. Very groovy and jazzy. It just doesn’t work with Wicked. I only really liked the “We deserve each other” part. The belting was nice and not very different. I like how Boq hesitated more

thank god they replaced this song, i feel like dancing through life makes fiyero a lot more redeemable as a character. like it would be much more of a journey to go from here to alaym and the audience might have gotten lost along the way. dancing through life gives a philosophy more people are comfortable with agreeing with.

I was fine with it until 10:36 on in which it turns into the opening of a bad 80’s sitcom. Likewise I would watch a wicked tv show done in the style of an 80’s sitcom so maybe there’s something to it lol

Not a fan at all...
Frankly, I don't think either Dancing Through Life or this song belongs in a story that's a prequel to the Wizard of Oz. Just doesn't fit the vibe. It never struck me that they would have universities in the land of Oz.
The second novel of the original Oz series sees the establishment of a university by the Wogglebug.
