I never really thought of it as any harder. Sounds easier to me. Less steps. Respect McDonaldʼs workers. Or youʼll get embarrassed & never forget about it in your whole life, or youʼll end up as a Popeyes employee whoʼs more pissed off than a kid not getting his favorite toy.
This is one of the reasons why every time I come to McDonald's (but not KFC, they constantly confuse orders, don't put something in, don't do something, and in general I hope this restaurant will disappear from the face of the Earth), I try to speak as respectfully as possible. I know how difficult life is for employees. Even from the experience of a friend I know, he also worked at McDonald's for a while
u know about the first two idiots who were asking for free food.... you see, there was this one time the enployees at mcdonalds were taking a bit long to make a mcpie, and i remember just patiently waiting like it was nothing, but the man STILL apologised and i said that its fine BUT HE GAVE ME A FREE ONE, i was so shy i couldnt accept it for like 2 minutes because i felt like its undeserved you see, this stuff happens rarely, and when it did to me, i couldnt accept it i thought im just getting my mcpie and thats it and im fine with that but i got another one i didnt need nor want it so i gave it to my friend who didnt get one because he was saving money up that was one awesome day, but the conclusion is that you shouldnt ask for more than you ordered, or beg for free food when you already got one i mean hell thats just wrong, when the time comes it will happen, and if its doesnt, its still fine, you got your order.
@user-kc7ns1cl9m Its not bad but they are asking for free food and are complaining that they have to wait 25 mins when literally everybody that orders has to wait 😒
I had the worst situation ever. When I was a kid, I ordered like 2happy meals for me and my sister. I waited for like 1h, then I realized they forgot to take my order. But, I was young, so didn't know what to do. Yet, I stayed there for another 30min starring down at the employee to see that I was in distress. After 1h.30min of waiting and then another 10min for them to retake my order and give me my meals. I had food in my Tommy after like 1h.45min of initial order and paying. I was not going to easily give up on my order. At the time, I was too young to know that you deserve compensation for really long long long wates. I basically spent my entire time in the mall waiting for food rather than have fun and explore. My sister was too shy to stay a thing and she is older than me.
Once when I was at McDonald’s I waited like 40 minutes for my order because they forgot about me. I eventually asked an employee “Hey, is my order coming soon?” And they had forgotten about my order. The employee gave me an extra medium chips. Nicest employee I’ve ever met.
As someone frequents the same chain location. One time I was shufling throught to make sure that my order was correct and they forgot my 2 extra maple sauces for my small combo hotcakes while also waiting for my soda. And I request that they give me the maple sauce, and I think I had said it to the manager as he had the dark gray outfit on. He simply said, "cool". Marched off came back and gave me my who sauces. Coincidentally another server handed me my soda while the guy was coming back with a large soda. Dude handed everything to the counter and said "sorry about that, have a nice day" and marched back to work. So I basically got a kind Fairwell and a free large coke. Still go there till this day as it's good customer service and I occasionally find that my burger is stake loaded more than everyone else around the table. Which is nice of them. As I am a regular there.
My experience was more like I have to wait an excruciatingly long time to get a burger with bacon, and by the time I go outside and eat it, they fucked up my order and didn't even add the bacon I paid extra for. Scumbags.
Hold on why are there influencers in mcdonald? do they really think that mcdonalds is gonna give them food and that the workers really give a shit about them? Bro, influencers are a joke

Depends on the McDonald’s worker. There are far too many in my experience in get my orders completely wrong. These influencers are some of the reason why most employees became like Squidward after a period of time. They had enough of people's shit to care about.
5:21 I think she was trying to do a soda float where the ice cream would float on top of the soda (but the problem is, her ice cream was already melted so it didn't really float, but mixed instead).
The girl that put icecream in her soda is actually smart. I used to put icecream in my soda all the time and get it at this restaurant as a child. It was called a spider but was really good.
People treat food workers like shit and it's disgusting. I do this kind of work not McDonald's but same kind of job and people are so entitled it's unbelievable. From my experience working in fast food if you get the wrong sandwich it’s most likely the baggers fault and not the cooks fault. Most places have a very easy to comprehend system for sandwich making you have to be really stupid to mess up. The bagging station is a bit chaotic and it’s reasonable to mess up once in a while
about the only times I get angry about my sandwich not being correct is when I go through the drive thru of wendys to get a spicy chicken sandwich with no tomatoes during a really slow period, and they give me tomatoes. instead of insulting the workers tho I just usually pull back around and ask them politely for a remake.

As a former McDonald's employee, this video was pure nostalgia. Strangely there were actually a lot of people who would call it sodium chloride. And as for the first Karen, for some reason a lot of people expected free shit for having to wait 20 minutes. No it's not with the $9 an hour.
i worked at mcdo in 1988 , back then there was even more toxic drama than there was today. that girl in the vehicle must have been born around 1999 . it blows my ,mind frankly.,
As a former mcdonald's employee, mind telling me what the training expected wait time is? At freddy's a red ticket is 8 minutes, and taco bell was like 5 minutes. I can't imagine mcdonalds being fine with a 25 minute wait (assuming no very apparent reasons why that would be the case, 1-2 line cooks, ran out of ingredients and doing a store run, etc.) And you should also know, that pretty much all fast food joints aren't going to argue with the customer for that, because training says it should've been done way before that. Everywhere I worked for fast food had no issues giving a comp card or discount for a 15+ minute wait, let alone 20-25+
@@death2foolz182 as someone who's worked for both McDonald's and Taco bell, the amount of training is night and day. At McDonald's I was never told how long someone should be waiting. At taco bell they have trainers and criteria to follow, at McDonald's it was basically "here's the buttons and script, figure it out yourself" and you were just stuck figuring everything out on your own. For someone that once worked at Wingstop, I agree with the "giving away free food" to a Karen is not worth the $7-9 per hour. But throwing and eating the customer's food in front of them while you know very well that they are recording you in front of the place you work at is extremely stupid and not good for your image. (Especially that the dude is most likely going to have to find a new job after that stunt he pulled.)
At any fast food restaurant they’re going to hear your conversation over a headset speaker system because you’re still speaking where it can pickup on your voice. If you’re going to say something you don’t want to be heard by a server, just say it when ur not right in front of what’s basically a microphone😭
There’s a drink that’s popular where I live which is similar to what the lady did. You get any type of soda and put an ice cream scoop inside it. It sounds disgusting but it’s alright. Aussies like me call it a spider
The “hack” at 5:00 is actually very popular back in Aus. Back when I was a kid we would have those at parties and they were called spiders or coke floats you can do it with basically any carbonated drink and ice cream. Usually best with vanilla ice cream. My personal favourite was creaming soda and vanilla ice cream. They sell them at Australian McDonalds - a version called a frozen coke float and you can choose any coke or Fanta flavour in slushie form with the the vanilla soft serve on top and in summer they are amazing. She did not invent this lol
25 minutes isn't long, even by fast food standards in the UK. you go into maccies when it's dead empty and you'll get it in a couple of minutes, but they were sitting in their car when there were probably a million people in there hounding the same employees for THEIR food
Considering the fact you can make 10 litres of soda out of 1 liter of concentrate it is actually more convenient for the stores, but still keeps the waiting customer happy.

I work at a McDonald’s and the shit we put up with sometimes makes me want to just hit someone. I’ve seen my manager get shot with orbes, teens intentionally trashing the lobby after they saw it was cleaned, entitled people who feel we must do exactly what they want even when we’re not allowed, etc. So many people seem to just lose their manors half the time when their talking to fast food employees. And we can’t do anything to speak back or we get fired. My manager won’t even ban certain people who are repeat problem causers. I don’t know if this goes on at other McDonald’s but we don’t even get holidays off. Time when we can be with our families we have to work. And at my work night shift people get it worse. I’ve worked both day and night shift but am on night shift permanently now. Costumers seem to get worse then and at multiple times day shift crew tells us nothing about broken things. We don’t find out till we go to use a thing and a mess happens. When will people remember we’re still human beings? I’ve had so many occasions where I’ve been in uncomfortable situations or I’ve been treated so badly I’ve cried. The worst probably when a man who looked to be my dad’s age flirted with me when I was 16 (I’m 17 now). I couldn’t even speak in that moment and it was just incredibly awkward. And so many times I want to quite but I can’t because no one in my area wants to work at McDonald’s because they know what people are like. So my shift has multiple times we’re short staffed and people don’t want to be patient. It would just be nice if people could come to their senses again and just treat a person who they’d want to be treated. Many of us at my work barely make jack shit (promotions are barely anything at times) so we just want to do our job and go home. So please people just respect fast food works. Believe me we’re just as annoyed as you are at times.
@Bananabreadmuffin Idek, he saw someone throw a guy out of a car and try to circle around and run them over, but another car drove in front of them and they drove off. I worked at UK McDonalds for 3 years as a CEL, I do confirm that at 7:42 it is true, we do have cameras and take mugshots of people as it makes easier to identify which order is yours on the computer screen as many McDonalds places have multiple drive thru lanes. So instead of asking what was your order, the worker just sees your face in window 1 and looks for your face on the mugshots. But don't worry, the pictures are then automatically deleted the second you pay for your order and move on to window 2. Also the speaker part is also true, the second your car pulls up to the order boot, it triggers a sensor that turns on the customer's mic and gives a loud ping sound for the person on the headset, so they know that someone is there ready to be served. For the customer to hear us, we turn on the headset mic manually. Sometimes it can take up to a minute for us to say the classic "hello, may i take your order?" because most of the time employees are doing more than one task, like making the drinks for window 2 or putting the cloths to wash if they are on window 1. So from me personally, please don't rage when you are not greeted immediately and please do not scream "hello?" as most of the time the person on headset knows you are there, especially if its a busy hour and a long queue, if you drive off to window 1 without ordering anything because you thought nobody knew you were there to order, most of the time you will be told to return to the queue, as at least for the UK, window 1 is ONLY for the order payment. But if nobody is replying for a while, you do have all rights to be upset as the employee's main priority on the headset is to take your order. Thank you for reading my comment as I apologise about ranting, just wanted to clear some things out.
sprite and ice cream was a thing way before tiktok thought it was. it's not a lifehack. i grew up with making those, and idk about you but over here we have mcfloats which are frozen coke with ice cream on top and something similar from burger king. they're always popular when the machines aren't broken
McDonald’s employees are really nice in my experience, one time a guy was really apologetic for taking like 8 minutes to bring our order in a drive through, and I had ordered a frappe too, so the guy apologised and said he would get me a large frappe, but he didn’t want to get in trouble so instead of saying he couldn’t get it, he didn’t use a large cup he filled a medium with as much frappe as he could. Also found extra nuggies in my box on many occasions.
In Australia and New Zealand any soda and ice cream combination is called a “spider” it’s actually pretty tasty. Whilst the idea of dairy and soda seams like a bad idea, the cream from the ice cream adds a new texture to the drink. It’s a little sweet but it’s really smooth. Or youʼll get embarrassed & never forget about it in your whole life, or youʼll end up as a Popeyes employee whoʼs more pissed off than a kid not getting his favorite toy.
this is an underrated coment
Thank you Odd Extrovert, very cool!
From the name, specific details. You speak from person experience
Honk your horn loud? Sorry bro, the McDonald’s worker was right to have a temper tantrum. You’re the one who was embarrassed!
I- I work as a Popeyes employee. It’s my first job lol
This is one of the reasons why every time I come to McDonald's (but not KFC, they constantly confuse orders, don't put something in, don't do something, and in general I hope this restaurant will disappear from the face of the Earth), I try to speak as respectfully as possible. I know how difficult life is for employees. Even from the experience of a friend I know, he also worked at McDonald's for a while
u know about the first two idiots who were asking for free food.... you see, there was this one time the enployees at mcdonalds were taking a bit long to make a mcpie, and i remember just patiently waiting like it was nothing, but the man STILL apologised and i said that its fine BUT HE GAVE ME A FREE ONE, i was so shy i couldnt accept it for like 2 minutes because i felt like its undeserved
you see, this stuff happens rarely, and when it did to me, i couldnt accept it i thought im just getting my mcpie and thats it and im fine with that but i got another one
i didnt need nor want it so i gave it to my friend who didnt get one because he was saving money up
that was one awesome day, but the conclusion is that you shouldnt ask for more than you ordered, or beg for free food when you already got one
i mean hell thats just wrong, when the time comes it will happen, and if its doesnt, its still fine, you got your order.
Why is it wrong to ask things in this world?
@user-kc7ns1cl9m
Its not bad but they are asking for free food and are complaining that they have to wait 25 mins when literally everybody that orders has to wait 😒

The sprite and ice cream was a pretty normal thing. An ice cream float you just put the ice cream in first and pour pop over top. Same exact thing.

I can't imagine mcdonalds being fine with a 25 minute wait (assuming no very apparent reasons why that would be the case, 1-2 line cooks, ran out of ingredients and doing a store run, etc.)
And you should also know, that pretty much all fast food joints aren't going to argue with the customer for that, because training says it should've been done way before that.
Take into account my McDonald's was considered the ghetto McDonald's and the working conditions were absolute shit

While sad, honestly not too surprised mcdonald's training is shit. Thanks for the insight
For someone that once worked at Wingstop, I agree with the "giving away free food" to a Karen is not worth the $7-9 per hour.
But throwing and eating the customer's food in front of them while you know very well that they are recording you in front of the place you work at is extremely stupid and not good for your image. (Especially that the dude is most likely going to have to find a new job after that stunt he pulled.)

bro was really like “gtfo out of my restaurant bitch”

Them people waiting that long I would have already brought y'all free meal cards. As a manager you can hand them out to deter people from being mad. You be surprised how quickly a free meal turns the situation around. Nothing opens up people's wallets quicker than good customer service.
2:45 thats actually something in my area. They’re called McShaker Fries, but they usually come with dry seasoning rather than straight up sauce.
Yeah i have that in my country, its like seaweed seasoning
yeah I love those
Yeah, I had those in a recent trip to Spain. They were delicious.
Samee
Aka shake shake price love that
1:25 once I waited 55 minutes for a single wrap... I can't telle you how frustrated I was when I discovered it was not even hot 💀
Dude as long as you're polite and explain the situation to the employees we don't mind replacing it for a fresh one 💀💀💀💀 why would you wait so much lol
@@SorenOllsenn I waited because I paid for it - and also they looked overwhelmed with work + I have social issues + it was to go -
Still he said sorry for the wait so it was alright I guess
@@raymaurae social issues does that to people
I would just drive off and cry🚵♀️
@@Jheane. Literally me, I'd probably be willing to wait for more than an hour bcs of damn social issues.
That’s hilarious. Wish I would’ve thought of that when the lady came in demanding extra caramel but without the extra pay lol
2:08 That man is a legend
sprite and ice cream was a thing way before tiktok thought it was. it's not a lifehack.
i grew up with making those, and idk about you but over here we have mcfloats which are frozen coke with ice cream on top and something similar from burger king. they're always popular when the machines aren't broken
I did ice cream + coca cola
Cola, sprite, fanta or raspberry fanta is actual bombs.
Kinda similar to mcfloat

This is like an over-literal version of the saying “don’t bite the hand that feed’s you”
3:12 "neow just simply open the beaag"
McDonald’s employees are really nice in my experience, one time a guy was really apologetic for taking like 8 minutes to bring our order in a drive through, and I had ordered a frappe too, so the guy apologised and said he would get me a large frappe, but he didn’t want to get in trouble so instead of saying he couldn’t get it, he didn’t use a large cup he filled a medium with as much frappe as he could. Also found extra nuggies in my box on many occasions.
Aww I hope you gave him a tip
Wow I just found your channel today your really funny and I like your content 😊
Welcome!!
That chick with the fries was way to excited about dumping ketchup in a bag 😂😂😂
1:37 What do you think this is? Charity?🤣🤣🤣
The ice cream gets foamy at the top adding a little badazzle to the drink.
I encourage you to try “spiders”, if you don’t like it that’s fine
@@nascarfanFlatTire I’m not American, but I’m pretty sure traditionally it’s root beer. But I guess you can use whatever you want lol
@@nascarfanFlatTire yes Fanta is really good for it. Never tried root beer though, I have to try it
Fuck yea spiders are noice
@@TheBongMong you havent had a float if you havent had a root bear float from fitz man
