I just saw one of these at a gas station. A woman military veteran had this on the back of her truck. She was around 65-70 years old and rides it in the National Forest here in Ocala, Florida. Looks damn near as nice as this one too! She's the original owner and has done all the work herself. What an impressive Grandma right?! I've met Soo many random people thanks to motorcycles. It's a beautiful thing isn't it?! God bless and keep on keepin on y'all 🤘

fun little fact about the early 80s "ts" series. they were the dual sports of the zukie lineup. the pure trail bike series was the "ds" series. the fun fact is that the "ts" suspension was actually better suited for offroad than the dirt only "ds" series. one example was the forks. the "ts" came with super plush longer travel LEADING AXLE forks, whereas the "ds" had the axle inline with the tubes. leading axle forks were more desirable offroad because the travel could be longer without increasing ride height because the lowers could extend down below the axle line, and of course, forks with the axle inline could extend no lower than the axle itself.

I owned one for a few seasons and it ran perfectly the entire time, you don't want to catch much air off road with the twin shocks but really good fun. That one sounds exactly like mine did

Just bought a '73.. Great bike.. Unbelievably to me - it is actually very good in the trails.. I was expecting just OK.. I was wrong.. Even back in the early 70's.., Japan had it correct..
