BTW, engines and gas is in a comprtment in a tank ...You put them where you can.

Not only that, but maintenance from the ground is impossible. Imagine needing to repair your component when landed not in hangar.
Is it really a concern now? No. Does it make sense? No. Is CIG pushing towards whole “repair your own ships?” Yes, and this one is a bitch to repair.

Sabre was my dream ship, but couldn't get the intel drive and then they were scalped for literally $2k+

Agreed. I wanted to like the shrike but the s2 hard points are too weak imo. While it carries more missiles, I think the firebird can be a better contributor to the fight

If missiles were reliable I'd get one.
Missiles are more reliable than ever before. In fact due to master modes You either kill your target in one or two passes or you will have to tank up considerably to not die. All engagements should begin with a volley of hard hitting missiles now out from about 4-5k. Then another volley at around 2-3k of more instant firings. one or two passes of shots and GG. Otherwise you are probably getting danced on from a bogey.
@@Biggiejohn Funny you should say that because missiles seem to be completely broken in the current PU build, I've wasted like a dozen size 9 torpedoes which seem to be unable to hit even stationary targets currently.

Someone said that the Raven was ~200. The Sabre is 170, so for sure, more than this. Dont know if less than the Raven.

@@schlagzahne6741 probably not, CIG are a little in the RED in relation to some sales data, so they will be playing on the ''Raven'' hype. It will sell on the strength its a Raven knockoff, and that doesn't have to be a bad thing. This Invictus is full of variants and mutton dressed as lamb, just easy money for CIG. Nothing wrong in that i suppose.

Yes they're cool. They took inspiration from the Raven to implement similar holes to the Eclipse wings.
I do to, but no holes might be something silly, like being the thing that allows them to make "legally distinct, _not_ intel partnership spaceship"
How were you able to rent it?
Just go in PTU, in the Drake EXPO, at A-18 in the spaceport.
There will be a rent terminal in the Drake hall, in front of you when you exit the elevator.
It will let you rent all ships in game. (it will be possible ate the end of the ILW in Live too)

Give it two size 5's and call it a deal.
For me it's the median between the Talon fighters.
Shrike has 24s3 missiles but only 2s2 hard points. Meanwhile the base talon has 2 size 4s and a limited missile load out.
I'll take the 2 size 3s and 12s3 missiles any day as a support fighter and coordinate a missile barrage with multiples of these.
I even like the idea of this ship having a cozy home on a Kraken, reloading ballistics and missiles then returning to the fight
It looks nice but to be honest it looks a little bit like toy not fighter ship. :)

No, it’s a medium fighter now intel wouldn’t let them release the old raven
From what I hear it removes the emp and replaces it with the 12x size 3 missiles
@@sigmamale6128 I was lucky enough to get a promo code when it was first released with the Intel memory. Cool, shit but I’d rather actually have the missiles instead of the EMP, but I like to ship to. I’ll probably pick one up.

So its not an mk2 saber because he have only 2 weapon and the bay below seem to be not for missile

It has 2 s3 guns and 12 s3 missiles (Below bay)
I will say it's a "Raven module" instead of 2 emp it has missiles.
