Wow - brave choice for a first reaction to GS. Nothing like jumping in at the deep end. Believe it or not, this isn't the craziest thing they do. You'll be hard pushed to find a more energetic and fun live band, but when they do slow it down for acoustic numbers you'll be even more blown away by their capabilities.

Gacharic Spin are all over the place in the best way. They have changed a good number of members over time, but still have the same core.
Multi genres, usually pretty bass heavy with some funk going on, but not always. They have some really unique lives and for some the music video is a good bet due to audio quality, so here are a few very specific suggestions.

This track from their latest full CD "W" (pronounced "Double") sealed for me their reputation as a modern-day progressive rock band. Not progressive in the sense of early Yes or Genesis - more like vintage Rush à la "The Spirit of Radio," the way they change up the pace meter and groove but not wildly like Otoboke Beaver. TBH they mix in so many genres and styles that they can't be easily pegged. That's why their songs continue to fascinate me.

Gacharic Spin is one of my favorite bands, they can be a little chaotic, but to tell the truth "Nanmaida" reaches a 9 or 10 on their chaos scale.😂
