He's the all time leading rebounder in the history of the franchise and was a big part of all 3 championships. The criteria for getting your jersey retired is not the same as making the hall of fame, dude. You don't need to be a superstar. Just a big part of the teams story. Dude was the team captain for 16 years. That alone is enough to retire his jersey.

Not even a Heat fan, but even I know Haslem deserves this honor. He helped establish Heat Culture and he was part of all of their championship teams. Plus, he put in a lot of work in the community. He's many things. But in Miami, he's a legend.
