Helen Mack started her career in movies at the age of ten, and by the time she was 13 was performing in vaudeville. Her acting career didn't blossom until the 1930s, when she made a name for herself as one of the movie's best criers. She had many leading roles opposite such actors as Lee Tracy, George Raft and Harold Lloyd. She may be best remembered for Son of Kong (1933). In later years she was a successful radio producer and writer.

Year thats understood. The rich country with 100s down and outs. By 1950s the rivers and canals were so polluted it was dangerous to go near them. Then of course we all forgot the genocide against the natives. Then the corruption. Marvellous country incl the shooting of stsrving workers and beatings carried out by religious rail companys in the 1800s. It has not stopped even now. Threats to us in UK by US Embassy and death threats by US Security within courts. We adore actors.

This was quite a melodrama! At one point in the film,Mr.Ayres sounded like John Wayne.A very different type of film& plot, which really held my interest&attention! Thanks,PizzaFlix for another fine movie!

"I tried it once.....selling vacuum cleaners....but my mug scared 'em off." Jack Pennick as "Lefty". Read his biography...there's something more to this guy despite his looks.
