    The Mechanist was indeed wasted.
Like, this chick built *hundreds,* or even *thousands,* of robots but couldn't be bothered to double check her coding?!
You know what would've been awesome? If the robots initially showed up in the Commonwealth, helping out on settlements and policing the road. Why? Because the character in the comics was a hero and that's what this cosplayer was trying to emulate!
Then, outta nowhere, some rogue third party hijacks the signal and makes them run amok. You've then gotta confront and then join the Mechanist in stopping them!
You can't make a character both brilliant and incompetent in the same breath. That's just dumb!

Far Harbor was a good DLC just because it was the only one with any substance; full new location with side quests and a decent story.
Nuka world is almost empty outside the actual park and the “good” outcome is just murder all the raiders single handedly. It’s only purpose was to add an “evil” play style in an RPG with no real evil choices. The park is kinda fun to explore though
Was gonna say Far Harbor deserved a 4/5 but that’s just because majority of the DLC was ass so ima have to agree with Dagoth on the 3/5 rating

My biggest gripe with Wasteland Workshop has to be the lack of integration with the other dlc’s. What I mean by this is why can I not mount a rad rat’s head or a nukalurk claw on my wall? Why can I not capture a rad chicken or gulper in the far harbor settlements? Just having these be available if you have both dlcs would just be awesome and it baffles me how Bethesda never saw such potential. Also why the hell are there not whole taxidermies of wasteland creatures. Why can I not stuff a whole ass deathclaw and place it outside my front door to ward off solicitors? C’mon Todd you did this with that one room expansion in Hearthfire it’s not that hard.

I never liked how Bethesda bet the farm on the settlement mechanics/focus in Fallout 4 and think it ultimately destroyed any replay value the game had. My opinion of the DLCs was directly tied into how little I had to interact with settlements and how much I could explore/roleplay.
I liked Nukaworld up until they told you to go do settlement stuff back in Boston, which by the end of my playthrough I was completely fatigued and disgusted towards. Never finished it because of that; just went back to the Commonwealth, gave Danse a cowboy hat, and brought him to Nukaworld to go on a merry little raider purge.
Far Harbor was fun and the atmosphere was on point, but felt like a dumber mix of Point Lookout and watered-down Blade Runner for a plot.
The rest of the DLCs are not memorable to me in the slightest, except for the Vault-Tec Workshop. I remember starting that DLC after completing all the others, going in, meeting the ghoulified overseer, and then getting told that the quests were purely going to be focused on more settlement BS I wanted no part of. I distinctly remember immediately building a large concrete barricade to block off the entrance thus trapping the overseer minutes after getting freedom, then leaving the vault. I finished up a few sidequests then never playing Fallout 4 again.

Like I can wander fallout 3 and new Vegas for weeks, but I swear to God the guns in fallout 4 whilst better to shoot, have the shitties muzzle flare of any game I've ever seen, can't see what the fuck I just shot at, and not only that, I swear to God it feels like every gun is even LESS accurate out of vats than previous games, coupled with ducking and weaving enemies and it becomes a bitch to hit shit, and add to the problem of enemies leveling with you, and no matter how strong you get you can't walk in and waste a raider gang, a RAIDER GAMG, without it being a simple headshot or two each but a fucking slog.
The Guns are more functional but have such drawbacks that the other games didn't have, coupled with a complete lack of cool unique weapons and just general legendary effects.
Like everything Fallout 4 fixed added two whole new problems to the game.
Somehow Fallout 4 gunfighting is great but gets worse, whereas in New Vegas and Fallout 3 make you feel stronger as you play, and I realized, because that's what rpgs should do, but instead of reveling in the power you earned you instead have to face god level raiders wearing only scrap and using hobby lobby piece of shit pipe guns.
You feel robbed of the power you earned whilst playing, and if you don't get the weapon perks? Kiss your ass good bye having ANY fun fighting.
Fallout 4 had so much potential, but seeing what Fallout 76 became, I don't have high hopes for the next installment that comes out on my deathbed of being a 136 in the 22nd century.

Nah, Nukaworld honestly deserves a 2/5 at most. You're an errand boy for people you've killed by the thousands to go clean out parts of the park. Only 2 have actually interesting things going on (Oswald and the Tarzan rip off). And due to there only being 5 sections; one group inevitably gets pissy after you go play Evil Minute men. Which is STILL you being an errand boy basically as you do all the leg work securing settlements and prettying it up for them.
And the side quests are fetch quests (go fetch more star cores to get this custom X1 armour set that really shouldn't exist but Power Armour lore is already shit all over in Fallout 4 so whatever).
Someone mentioned how killing all the Raiders is the "good" route, and I agree because it's basically saving you from wasting your damn time on those clowns.
Meanwhile Far Harbor is easy 4/5, sure it doesn't go as far into "who's a synth" as it maybe should. But it feels a lot tighter then base game, the characters you interact with are interesting, you get to go on a drug trip, and I at least understood what the factions wanted unlike the main game. Far Harbor is great and easily the best part of Fallout 4.

I would give cold harbor a higher score but back in the old days my praytrough screwed up my save games and mass murdered my dreams, so I give it a 0/5. The other DLCs get a not New Vegas score and the base building sht get a FU/5.
