Lisa, I have been working to add some definition to Lily recently, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on my take on Lily connection to "wisdom": Lily is etiquette; Tower is experience; and Book is knowledge. ...does this work for you? perhaps I've been watching too much Bridgerton 😆 but I have really been liking Lily's connection to a family crest (Fleur-de-Lys) and that entire Regency/"Jane Austen" era.
I love the idea of associating the Lily with a family crest because it will help people relate the Lily to family. For me, etiquette belongs more to the Bouquet (showing yourself in the most attractive light) and Tower (rules imposed by authority to govern people) as it relates to the rules of polite behavior in society. Put Lily, Bouquet, and Tower together and I'd certainly see etiquette! LOL! I wouldn't see Tower as wisdom, though. It's a card of authority, ambition and ego, feeling above someone or trying to get to the top. It might describe someone as egotistical or judgmental rather than wise. The idea of striving to gain a better perspective might relate to the many steps involved in learning to gain knowledge, but wisdom is something that comes with age and experience and isn't found in books or institutions. Wisdom is when you know how to use the knowledge you've gained. Does that make sense?

I have always thought of Tower in terms of "the view from the top" and a "big-picture perspective" which can be obscured by the Clouds. are there any verses which really speak to the ego and ambition of the Tower?
Traditional readers use the Lily as it's the card of family harmony and pure satisfaction. It is the card of virtue but sex within a consenting loving could is virtuous. The Whip is the card of discord and struggle. It can refer to the physical act, especially in the absence of love. It's more like a nasty-sex card! LOL! We use it to represent rape. If I saw the Lily after the Whip, it may indicate make-up sex!

The cards from left to right are the coffin the whip the Heart Card which is the focus card followed by the scythe and the Lily card. I'm a bit perplexed in deciphering the message because it seems to illustrate some type of very negative message. Any thoughts of what this could mean?
Hi Napoli. I have no idea what your "love" situation is, but I could read that line in a general way and say, when passion ends, conflict continues which threatens your peace and satisfaction. It could also say that repeatedly beating yourself up over a lost love is a threat to future romantic satisfaction. If you mirror the cards around the Heart, you could read it as, finally resolving to separate yourself from being conflicted regarding love will allow you to make peace with the loss of it. Does any of that help?

In one of my books, the Lily is associated with sex because of it's connection with fertility (i.e think Easter Lilies), and it's 'shameful pistil'. LOL!!! My boyfriend bought me a bouquet of lilies recently and we both agreed, the pistil is rather 'shameful' and phallic looking. 🤣
😆They are a bit x-rated! LOL! The Lily openly displays both female (pistil) and male (stamen) reproductive parts. That's one of the explanations in my book under the "emblem's meaning".

The Snake doesn't automatically mean cheating, so be careful not to make assumptions based on only one card. The directional cue for the Snake says that the card it faces either receives or describes the deceit, so you can't go only by that. As a traditional reader, I follow the MOD rule that says the Snake falling near the seeker's card is warning them to be on guard. In that case, the Snake touching the seeker's card would be warning the seeker of betrayal or hidden dangers. So, if you're using MOD, the Snake falling next to 29 would be warning her, not accusing her.
