Bailey has loved wearing her hair up lately, and she is so loving this specific twisted updo hairstyle that we created years ago. {It is a style that we had on our website in photos from way back before we started this CZcams channel.}
This hairstyle really is not complicated, and I only classify it at a "Medium" skill level because getting the bun in the back secure can be tricky. I have found that Goody Spin Pins work well, to secure it and then I use a few extra bobby pins to take care of the loosies!

Items Needed: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, 2 small hair elastics, 2-3 Goody Spin Pins, 2-3 bobby pins, hairspray {if desired}.

Whenever I use a lace twist like this at school I get so many compliments when in reality its so simple and easy! My favorite technique for on the go up-dos or even just twisted back bangs!
Me too! I like to do the twists back like she did, and put them in a ponytail if that makes sense. It's SOOO pretty and looks way more complicated than it is!

I do this hairdo all the time! Love it!
tip: If you run a comb down the middle of the back of your head before creating the bun (but after twisting) you won't be able to see the hair is parted in the middle.

I do this very often But I do one all the way to one side with just one or 2 in to the middle and very rarely 3 or 4 which looks really nice!

I am doing that hairstyle a lot...usually when my hair is a bit wet. After a while of wearing it, l let my hair loose and my hair gets beauriful curls. :)

Hey Mindy! Thanks for showing a new hairstyle that can be used for school. I did a test run on the hairstyle this morning, but my version was slightly different. I put my hair into the twist braids, and then used sparky ponytail holders for the bun, instead of bobby pins. It looks really cool. Thx! :)
