Please i need really need your help. How to you get a digital version of the photo? As in how to i get the film and get a digital version if i can scan it where and how do i do it?
hey man, i love the video, i think it's by far the best process on youtube for making nimslo/nishika gifs, but i'm wondering if there's a way to do this in lightroom classic so i can apply negative lab pro to my scans; do you know how i might achieve that?
@@nathanpatrik5073 you've gotta scan your negatives in with a flatbed scanner or dedicated film scanner after getting them developed at your local lab or developing them at home with a kit
slick video man, your instructions are def fluid and a great way of guiding! (I've been doing mostly vids in FCPX bc using IG, but just wrapped a shoot that'll published as GIF...). thanks bro
Thanks a lot man, I appreciate it. And yea there's definitely many ways to create this effect, vids are cool because you can add music to them obviously lol, but can always convert gifs to mp4. ⚡
@@BrandonLosada Agreed man, yeah I actually started doing a lot of GIFs for photo booths, some fashion shoots etc., steered to vids bc of share ability, music as you say, and IG mostly - but still have mad love for the GIF, and now putting some new editorials in GIF on site. Thanks again, def looking forward to more from you!
Do you know what I can do to get all 4 images in the background on PS? My images are in files with 2 images each, so when I import to photoshop my background can only be 2/4 images. Great, concise tutorial by the way.
Okay, so in Photoshop: go to the image tab at the top -> Canvas Size -> change “inches” to “percent” -> change width to “200” This should increase the canvas size and you’ll be able to view all of the photos in the same document like I have in the beginning of the tutorial. I hope this helps.
How do you get your photos developed and how do you go about scanning them in? Do they come all in a row like that or did you just scan them in like that?
I get them developed and scanned at a local camera shop. They usually come scanned with 2 images per frame. In this video I just doubled the width of the photoshop canvas and put the two scans next to each other and merged them into a singular layer. Thanks for watching!
Can you do a tutorial, to get to transfer it into your phone and uploading it to Instagram at the highest quality, cause every time I post it the quality of the gif drops tremendously
Gabriel M No problem man, I’m happy to help. For more precise positioning try holding down “Alt” while lining up your images, it should allow for more precision. Let me know if that works!
Wonder why there are no digital cameras that have the 4 lenses. Seems like there would be one by now. Is this the best version of this camera? Or is there another camera that produces the same effect better?
loic joub, I personally haven’t used Photoshop on iPad, but it should be the same assuming there’s an animation workspace and the same type of export process on the iPad product.
I just looked this up because I wasn’t completely sure either. It was printed using a process called, “Lenticular Printing” - and it would come out like those hologram cards that you would move and the image would change.
Dont know how many photos you can get with one film, i assume half of it? So like 19? Once you reach that 19 shots, do you have to keep making shots till youre out of film roll? Sorry i hope you understand my question lol (bad english)
Yes, each time you take a photo w/ the Nishika N8000 it uses 2 exposures on your roll of film. The film I use has 24 shots/exposures on it, so when I use the Nishika, I can get 12 shots out of that roll.
Going to Walgreens should be fine, but a dedicated camera shop would definitely have a greater quality and attention to detail.. For these Nishika photos I had the camera shop scan them onto a disc for me, but for some of my other film photos I used my own scanner and that worked fine, but the quality does vary depending on your scanner.
Thanks for checking out the tutorial. If you have any questions, I'll be more than happy to help.

How do I export this to make it useable on Instagram ?

Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll see what I can do. And yea, the Instagram compression is brutal.
has anyone figured this out yet?
Man oh man thank you for this. I'm having issues tho lining up my images photo shop will not let me line up the eyes any ideas?

how would I be able to add music to the gif for instagram? (dumb question I know lol) love this video btw

There are multiple cameras. I would try searching "lenticular cameras" in google, there are a few but not many.
do you think you can do the same thing on the Ipad version of Photoshop?
loic joub, I personally haven’t used Photoshop on iPad, but it should be the same assuming there’s an animation workspace and the same type of export process on the iPad product.
can you do this same effect but using a different camera
I was able to get my hands on this camera today. I am wondering...since this camera was released in early 90s...how did they do the animation?
I just looked this up because I wasn’t completely sure either.
It was printed using a process called, “Lenticular Printing” - and it would come out like those hologram cards that you would move and the image would change.
Brandon Losada interesting. Thanks for the research. No wonder it was not that popular back then and it’s getting back in the time of social media.
Where you at bruv ?

When I choose the GIF setting in the export, my color changes, why does this happen?
What iso did you use?
what film did you use?
I used the Fujifilm 400 Speed fIlm. The link is in the description.
How did you develop the film?
I got it developed at a small local camera store.
Brandon Losada so going to Walgreens would be ok? Also did you use a regular scanner?
Going to Walgreens should be fine, but a dedicated camera shop would definitely have a greater quality and attention to detail..
