  • The Juice could once again be loose.
Imprisoned former football star O.J. Simpson has a parole hearing this week that could see him released from a medium-security Nevada prison as early as Oct. 1. While lawyers familiar with Simpson’s case say the now 70-year-old diabetic is likely to make parole, what his life outside of the prison walls will be like is still very much up for debate.
“The big question is, if Simpson is paroled, how would he be received? With open arms? Slammed doors?” columnist Scott Ostler wrote in Simpson’s hometown newspaper, the San Francisco Chronicle. “He would be retried a million times in the court of public opinion, gossip TV and social media. Psychopathic murderer or frame-up victim? Rehabilitated soul or consummate con man?”
There is renewed interest in the Simpson saga in the wake of last year’s highly popular FX miniseries and Academy Award-winning ESPN documentary.

Why you didn’t say that a long time ago you wait for 9 years to say he didn’t pull gun on you.If you said that at the beginning you could avoid OJ to stay 9years behind bar.

Why are they laughing when they told him that he is getting the same parole as everyone else.

Because it wasn't the same as everyone else's parole hearing. That board was very aware of the media interest and conducted the hearing somewhat differently because of that.

He still exhibits Superior Control Issues, where he is the Hero, walks into and try’s to be in Control. He not accepting responsibility for his actions, He appears to think that he is in this current situation because of actions of others. I’m sure every criminal behind bars wishes he could go home to be with his Family Members. He seems to laugh a lot of the topics off and takes the I’m doing what the system requires to move him in acceptable directions but doesn’t take it the next level of accomplishment.

@@edwinmalachy He was framed by the real killers. He went to Nichole's house unaware of their intention to kill her. Two assailants killed Nicole and Ron. The LAPD tried to cover that up. One of the killers might very well have been Charlie Ehrlich, a mob guy. The other one, I do not know yet.

@@jpj65 I agree with you. OJ was not guilty. He was an unwitting accomplice. He went to her house to "read her the riot act", as he had stated in his book, "If I Did It." The real killers deliberately tried to FRAME him.
