Sometime I'd love to see an interview with Shaye where she explains her use of mutes. I've not seen another player using mutes as often or as precisely as she does.

Was too hot for the canvas overcoat, and zoot suit but I wore my starched white shirt with the custom placket, baggy stovepipe trousers, spats and two tone “uptown” shoes. Spotted a few young ladies at the local coffee joint - they laughed and smiled... then we cut a rug in the parking lot to your band! Quite a crown gathered... surreal but true

At about 21:53 Shaye calls for a polyphonic conversation with just the frontline players engaged. It sets up the finale brilliantly, and this is not the way TS usually plays this song.

I could not find any similar Tuba Skinny songs with "Sunset" as a search term, and I'm not sure of the title name or if it's a fairly new song. It has exquisite pacing and 'beats per minute' for a hot summer day. It sure seems as though I've heard this before, but maybe it's because I've replayed this broadcast several times already! I was hoping to hear a "street performance" version of this song; it's really quite good . . . but then, everything they do is good! - j q t -
I had similar feelings in April so I used GPay, which they don't accept, and I asked my son and a few others, and they said Paypal NOW is really a lot better than the older Paypal that I had used fifteen years ago and then abandoned. Anyway, I found Paypal very straightforward and easy, and I think my donation got through to them. In fact, even my old password from 2004 still worked!
