No but for real, his philly shell shoulder roll type defense, anticipation, quickness, and footwork. And his reflexes, timing and especially accuracy when catching his opponents punches and almost simultaneously countering with powerful shots made him unbeatable in 50 pro fights. And with the very rare exception (Zab Judah) he never really got close to being beat. Maidana was pretty rough for him though…regardless of him outpointing him, Maidana was relentless and was landing with shots to his temple and just crazy looping shorts as well as hard thudding shots to his body
He whooped floyd the 1st time
He said cotto was and the drunken master. They were landing shots like maidana so what is your point? Maybe he has maidana next hardest opponent behind the guys he named. They may have been tougher to him than maidana, but all 3 landed good punches.
@@Davo_Tv floyd undefeated
@@gibgibbo5738 no doubt but just go watch the fight without being bias
@@venusspacey9685 Just thought Maidana did a great job in those two fights as a contendor. I would put his performance over Cottos tbh. I know Cotto came alive in some rounds with some precise shots, especially to Floyds nose but It appeared to me like Maidanas performance was more of a headache for Floyd. More flurry of punches with more power behind them plus a good landing percentage as well against someone like Floyd. And I believe Maidana kept more pressure on Floyd throughtout the fight. Cotto did great against Floyd too don’t get me wrong
Can’t believe he didn’t say Castillo that’s the one loss the judges helped him out of.
At least he is honest.
Cotto fight was a classic!!!!!🔥
Pacquiao and Mayweather are two legends in Boxing in a different style.
In my opinion I think Marcos Maidana was tougher for him
@@samoanguy5176shhhh he was damn near 50 years old fighting Maidana, he fought Emanuel when he was young.

Maidana
I remember after Floyd fought Cotto, he told 50 how hard Cotto hit. Shout out to Papi
Cotto no joke, one of the best ever
Cotto was damn good fighter
Not hard enough 😆
@@stayrich3027 czcams.com/video/1f_YKX007qc/video.html
Is this Floyd???? 🤔 LOL 😭😭😭... First it's Cotto is your toughest opponent in your words & he hit you the hardest, now it's convenient amnesia. Not hard enough??? CAP 💯. Get your broad off the burner account & give that man (Cotto) his flowers.
Miguel would give you the first 3 rounds... a killer instinct. He was trying to kill u.
Floyd is right about Manny Pacquiao
Pacman 🔥 🤣 that was a cold fight
All about timing love mayweather but he thought Pac-Man 3 years to late if it would’ve been before I think we might of had a different outcome and he knew that plus pacqiuiao was injured in camp
@@nikkyblammon6814 here comes the lying narrative forgetting that money Pacquiao was the first to turn down the fight. Manny Pacquiao on his team lied and was sued Manny Pacquiao‘s own coach. the fight with Cotto was dope. Great fight
Miguel cotto gave money a run for his money that night frfr
Naw
100%Facts
But Mayweather still won decisively. I'd say Marcos Maidana gave Floyd a few rough fights.
????
nah
Floyd Mayweather at one point named Miguel Cotto as his toughest opponent. He's right. He probably feels different about it every day, just like we might have a different fighter every now and again.
Floyd answer is always different
Floyd is the best ever. He really is. The smartest fighter too. He is being honest and humble here.

Augustus wasn't even close to one of his hardest fights but you can tell Mayweather respects him alot and has even used his style in a couple fights.
He forgot a guy named Marcos Maidana 💪🏽
I never get tired of watching that fight Augustus was really a badass and a master when I found out about him made me love boxing from their time more
I honor how Floyd always giving Emmanuel his propers. His record wasn’t great but he was always competitive and definitely always entertaining. I feel bad for boxing fans who never saw his fights. Win, lose or draw!
The cotton fight was beautiful to watch. Two juggernauts showing their skills.
He was tough, he was just tough: couldn’t explain it any other way - that tell you how hard the sunken master was.
Drunken not Sunken
I love that he admits this 💯
Augustus was like a superhuman punching bag
Them south paws are always tough match ups
The drunken master did every single step in boxing dancing! Emanuel Augustus
Floyd brutality honest you gots to love him while he speaks this way.
If he was truly being honest, he would've said his roughest fight was the first Castillo bout.
Augustus was a dude that kept coming forward and needed to be killed to be stopped , dude was savage
Interviewer: How do you feel after knocking out your opponent in 5 seconds?
Mayweather: But he’s a helluva fighter
Cotto vs Mayweather was a damn good fight. I like to see Floyd give past opponents props. I would love for him to break down his fights and tell us what he was seeing or thinking during the fights.
I remember the Cotto fight and how he gave him a great fight. Floyd was bleeding out of his nose on that one.
And had blood in his urine too.
He was bleeding out of his nose with the Augustus fight too
Cotto was already a beaten battered man by the time Floyd fought him. Cotto had already got smashed by Pacquiao and cheated by Margarito
Damn good fight
"But you made it look easy", guy is trying his best to catch Floyd's trust😂
Real life Nannie’s really that guy
I was waiting for Mayweather to say Shane Mosley or Castillo.😅🥇

Thank you for posting this vid. Mayweather is a great example that hard work, dedication and perseverance will definitely take you to great places. His transparency when he answers these questions is great. To me Mayweather is one of the most tactical fighter in the history of boxing.
Yeah his wife never stood a chance
No but for real, his philly shell shoulder roll type defense, anticipation, quickness, and footwork. And his reflexes, timing and especially accuracy when catching his opponents punches and almost simultaneously countering with powerful shots made him unbeatable in 50 pro fights.
And with the very rare exception (Zab Judah) he never really got close to being beat.
You don't have to like him, but you can't deny his record considering those fights were against the greatest the world had to offer. If he spent his career ducking the best then that would have been a different story but he fought all the best, and it turns out he was it.

Facts! Floyd did a helluva job adjusting mid rounds
Floyd's nose was leaking that night
Fr definitely challenged floyd in a very different way
I like when Floyd said he was just tough after the interviewer called the drunken master awkward. Keeping it respectful
He wasn’t being disrespectful. When the interviewer called him awkward he meant his style was awkward not the man himself and it was he had a very unique style of movement
