Hey Mama! It feels like just yesterday i was watching these hospital bags videos now my babygirl is 5 mths 🥰 i am also newly pregnant again thought & i can certainly say i overpacked. I suggest u get Dermaplast for after care! Here in the States they give it u at the hospital & will even give u more if you need more! That's a MUST bc i hope u don't tear but u never really know so better to have than not. I didn't really tear but the numbing & cooling helps. If you'd also like to look into padsicles i love those also for the 1st few days cuz id like to just change into clean cooling pads not those watery filled Frida pads, they're so overpriced too.
I brought mostly night dresses bc i didn't wanna be in pants, they come all night checking on you & if you're in a dress they just have to lift the dress up instead of disturbing u to pull your pants down..a robe will do too. I didn't get epidural so moving around wasn't a problem but i know lots of women find it cumbersome moving around after & many women find themselves swollen too.
I know this time around I'm only bringing zipper onesies & swaddles. That's the #1 game changer that's gonna make all the difference for #2 for me, maybe also bring my Boppy to hospital. I'm not bringing 3 sets of clothes for me & baby. I'm gonna bring tons of extra snacks & protein shakes. I only stayed for 2 nights (would've been 1, but babygirl was born on midnight & they don't discharge overnight). I brought make up & i laugh bc idk what i was thinking. I labored mostly at home for 7 hrs but def didn't look cute going into the hospital & once there make up was the last thing on my mind.. i didn't even comb my hair for 3 days lol. The fan was a life saver it got me thru my contractions which was like climbing out of hell.. 😂🤣

I think it's cuz she's in Toronto. Most hospitals give these to u. I brought & still used the hospitals & they advise u to take it home too bc if u don't they throw it out for both u & baby
