I can't imagine getting a guitar made for me with all the specs I want! Congrats! Schecter Guitars are so well made! I have played guitar for 20+ years and would just be happy to have a guitar and amp. Got severely sick last year and spent a month in the hospital fighting for my life and had no option but to stay at my Mom's living in her dining room on oxygen 24/7 since. I'm a huge fan! I've followed you for many years on CZcams and love your music on Spotify! Amy's song and Rain are great!

Not gonna judge you being left handed, but I'm judging you making things complicated for the industry.
Guitars were guitars, left handed people just decided to play different than traditional guitarists and we could say that is a style. But honestly there is not enough left handed players to invest and that's why companies are not taking the risk to lose money.

Congratulations Rob! I've been following you for a very long time now! Since 2013, if Im not mistaken. You had a CZcams ad for your crazy funk solo. Since then I was hooked. Your original song, for that second easily made you one of my favorite musicians.
It's crazy and so exciting to see that you're now working with Schecter (one of the first extended range guitars you had back then). Hope to check out your signature guitars soon!

  • @augustopenaspalmeira471

best guitar review i've seen. most of em sound made for experts and like you already have to know everything about circuits and ergonomics and shit like that and don't take the time to compare it to other guitars just for the sake of the video being short and basically just an ad. this is more honest and down to earth

As a leftie, my go to for my first guitar was a schecter omen 8 LH for both cost and quality. Was difficult to learn with the mentioned wide fret spread so I eventually purchased a 6 string as well, but the Omen 8 is really special to me as I have gotten better with it. Im happy to see a specialised make come out for signature LH guitars. Great video and incredible product!

I remember when this video came out, for the first time in a long time, I really had to have this new guitar. I have a C-1 and V-1 that I really love, I wanted to dip my toes into the 8 string realm and this was gonna be the guitar to do it. I did a ton more research and almost pulled the trigger on one of these, but I decided a C-8 MS SLS Evil Twin fitted me even more. Without this video, I wouldn't have known the whole C-8 multi-scale range even existed. I've been looking since May for an Evil Twin. They were/are backordered everywhere, but ideally I wanted a used one. Only five have sold on Reverb since its debut, so I didn't have my hopes up. Well, a week ago at midnight, I found a used one at Guitar Center and pulled the trigger. It's a sick guitar that I wouldn't have known existed if weren't for Rob, thanks chief. Back in May I knew I was getting a C-8 multi-scale no matter what, so I ordered a custom 8 string set from String Joy. I'd highly recommend this to anyone, they have a string tension calculator. The strings that come stock on C-8s are still a little floppy for my liking on the low end. I can't say for sure what came on my used one, but I changed them immediately to the set I bought.

Way to go Rob! I love Schecter guitars, they are extremely underrated shred machines. Watching your videos has helped inspire me to dip my toes into the extended range world and I recently found an older MIK Omen-7 for only $300. Thought the extra string might really eff me up, but I couldn’t be happier with her! Taking a look at your new sig, I see myself buying a 3rd Schecter sooner than later!🤘

Honestly still hoping to get one of these bad boys some day. But I’ve gotta say.
You priced these EXCELLENTLY. Humbuckers with coil taps, locking tuners, neck through, beautiful paint job, fabulous choice in wood and wood grain. Djent to “Down south” country sounds, GREAT scale length, AND it’s a Schecter for roughly $1,200 to $1,500? Fucking phenomenal.
    This. Does. NOT. Get. Better.
    A genuine thank you.

Rob, I love so much that you went with the more subtle fans on the 7 and 8 string models. I don't like that every 7 string has to go to 27" and every 8 string 28". In fact I love it enough that I put in a pre-order for your new 7. I'm very eager to get it in my hands!
