gray, its easy to get a cat on a leash just gotta get themsed to it at first if theyre older or when young they are fine with it,(althought its kinda rarely done)

You can in fact walk cats on leashes! Don’t force them though! Only do it if they like exercise and seem interested in going outdoors. Also, I’ve never seen a cat being walked on a collar, and not on a harness. (Probably for good reason. Most cat collars are made to break away so if they jump and it gets caught on something they don’t strangle themselves.) Anyways- like I said, walking your cat on a harness and leash is pretty normal, and if trained properly, can be a rather fun activity for them! :D

It allows them to go outside in a way that is safe for both the cat and the local wildlife! Cats that are let roam free can easily get diseases or parasites or get harmed by a lot of other external causes. Cats are also very harmful for local species, as most cats will kill small animals and domestic cats are the reason for the endangerment and extinction of a lot of species of birds
