- Blessings, Peace, Good Health and Harmony to all our CZcams Family and friends, and to all new viewers who may have come across to our small channel. You all have a very fantastic day.
In todays video Randy will be sharing you his frustration on a few things in the Philippines.
I will be sharing some of the things I have been doing lately for the children that goes to the elementary school in our community. We will be giving them this school all school supplies and sports equipment such as , basketball balls, volleyball balls, badminton, chess, football and hula hoop.
We will be giving them the sports equipment before they start there summer learning camp.
I made the mistake when I came here to spend and enjoy Life in the 6 weeks I was here.
A year later I returned to live here fulltime and we bought some Land on Payment, and did not have that spare money anymore, and since then, building a House slowly-slowly on my Monthly Pension, I definitely do not have spare money to throw around.
That was my Mistake.
The past 10 Years I have said no to everything bar the most urgent of Medical Issues. Anything else I tell them to save and pay for it themselves. That DID cause a LOT of problems for the first few years after I initially said NO! I was the Bad Guy, I was Kuripot and miserable, I was the BAD FORIEGNER! I did not understand their plight...
But I also live with the Family here, and we share Foods etc. They can see how I live here in the same House that they live in, but occasionally, rarely, they get that resentful attitude when they want something, and I say No, we are trying to build our House, Sorry...
My Advice to ANYONE coming to the Philippines, do NOT throw your money around and have a good time IF you plan on settling here. A pissed of Filipino holds a grudge for a long, long time... Simply say from the get-go; "Sorry, NO. I do not have the money spare and I am not Rich"... They did just fine before you arrived, and will do so after you are long gone from this big Rock.
This is a very wonderdul and usefull message for all of us . Thank you for sharing them with us. This is a great guide for all who planned to come and visit or rerire here in Philippines.. Hope all is well at you now..and Have a great day..❤❤❤

Begging is common in the Philippines and it costs little to help them with some food and other things, always said no to giving them money for alcohol. The problem for many foreigners is that they drink too much alcohol and that is why they get sick.

Anyone who may be critical about a foreigner husband not doing enough in their home in PH has probably not been in a relationship with a Filipina. They enjoy doing things for their partners-foreign or local Filipinos. I know i am not allowed to do most chores at home but i do try to do at least a little to let her know i appreciate all that she does

there are always going to be critics no matter what you do, just ignore them. Your life is your life, be yourself, both of you, and enjoy your time together. I don't think I have ever seen two nicer people on youtube, you do your best to help your community, building sidewalks, and school supplies, I haven't seen that from anyone else on youtube. Just be yourself, don't worry about critics, or haters, just do what you need to do, and enjoy your time together!

You guys are a great team and to me age gap is only a problem if you are holding her back and she really seems to be happy. As Mr. Randy stated, Rose does whatever she wants. I also believe its important to save and leave her a nest egg to sustain her after you're gone. I see many situations where the guy suffers a tragic accident and the family suffers. Last thing are there other foreigners in your village? It really seems like a beautiful place for nature lovers.
Yes there are lots of foreigners here living nicely and they keep their lives off from CZcams, they are more private people.

I just want to say how much I appreciate your honesty and transparency in having a significant medical condition. Many people wouldn't talk about having CP. Being medically trained, in the past, I have wondered why you move the way you do Randy and now it makes sense. Keep fighting the good fight, and as we all know a lack of stress and even happiness is one of the best medications in the world for this. I am sure Rose helps with all of that.

Thanks Rose & Randy you stopped me just in time , it is now 9:15am in Western Australia and I was about to start painting the room when I noticed this video , therefore the end result was that my painting was delayed for about 30 minutes. I love the interaction between you both and it would be easy for most to regard you both to be like chalk and cheese , but in actual fact more like two peas in a pod , I think you both compliment each other. I read someone else mention that perhaps you could start a little vegetable plot just for Randys broccoli,cauliflower and celery and have it situated on flat ground not far from the house and then Randy can look after it without worrying about walking on uneven ground. What do you use for your filming of the videos , mobile phone , GoPro, or Sony ZV-1 and so forth , I am sure the GoPro is great for on the motorbike and can go on the handlebars or the helmet. Randy to be honest I have never considered you to be either too old for Rose or lazy etc , because when I see you both together I only see a very happy couple . Take care . Willie
Thanks for you kind remarks. Yes Rosemarie and I get along very well. Of course we have our moments like every couple does. But we talk it through and come to understanding of what the the other is thinking and feeling so that just make our relationship stronger. We just use our cell phones for video. Unfortunately the veggies I can get here won't grow here it's to warm they are cool weather crops. Thanks there are guy that think I'm holding Rosemarie down because I'm old and have difficulty walking in ruff terrain. I never stop her from doing what she wants but she feels bad leaving me behind. Hey guys. It is the same here in Meico. I have learned to epect some kind of exchange for any money I give or loan. Saying no is alot less stressful now than it was years ago. I do what you do, give money for school projects or community events and things like that. Seeing where your money goes make more sense. Keep up the good work.
I understand I lived in Mexico for a couple of years it's really bad down there. And they have absolutely on problem just stealing from you there. I did not like Mexico I found them to be very rude to Americans.

R & R - Keep your good work! Your community spirit is a shining example to us all. Naysayers would rather complain than contribute so flip the bozo bit and ignore them. You are making a positive difference in a lot of ways. Randy, I am curious about Philippine spices for cooking since you mentioned stuff you couldn't get. New and interesting spices or province foods are great topic. Chiggers don't like marigolds. I don't like them either. Instead, I use mint, a couple of bottles of beer (alcohol abuse in some circles!) and Epsom salt to make homemade bug repellent spray. It might be a useful tip at the R & R BnB. 🙂

I have two things that I never do first if I know the person I will loan money to them however if I have to hunt them down to hear their excuses as to why they did not come to me to pay me back. I never loan money to them again. If I ever borrow money from someone I look them up when I get paid and pay them back : If someone paid me back and then ask me if they can borrow it again that is ok.

The things I notice in the philippines ; About everything is gear around tourism ; no industrial . Another blogger claims that there is a skin taxes ( this what he calls it ) in the philippines . Where any foreigner buy something and the price is jack up . Thinking they can afford that . A chief complaint I hear from the other bloggers . It is nice to spread the wealth but They donot understand that you are limit to your wealth .
Yes they will do that that's why I have Rosemarie do the shopping if it's not in a store with set prices. The reason Filipinos think we are rich is in relation to them we are the average Filipino here only makes 200 bucks a month. Thanks for watching.

I am now retired from heath care and I have noticed in previous videos that Randy had a slight deficit with his right arm and I wondered if he had exerienced a mild stroke in his past. However now I know he has CP. Randy you have been so productive with your life despite that disability! I am saddened that you started smoking again. I was rooting for you from afar. Tough habit to kick. Your bride is gorgeous and it is obvious she loves you. Do what you can to live a very long time!! Looking forward to spending the winter in Philippines and hope to visit your mountain paradise!!

Sorry I am not able to contribute at this time being on SS. pension. I also love your honesty about your relationship and your gap in age is not so big at all. My filipina wife is 28 years younger than me, so around the same gap. I find Rosemary to have a very sweet personality and you both compliment each other. And I love her gardens and seeing her take care of the pigs. She is dynamic. And beautiful! So just be safe and happy together.
