Luxe Buffet is the biggest buffet in Orange County, CA, not just because of the size of the restaurant, but also the 100 plus selections of food. The best time to go is on Sundays, where they serve all you can eat lobsters, all you can eat oysters, and all you can eat crab legs for only $40! I was going to say the same. It's one at a time, and refilling that tray takes forever, so often you get one half lobster the entire time you're there!
I live pretty close to Luxe buffet, have been there multiple times. Personally I would not recommend this place. To be fair, before Covid this place was pretty legit, but not anymore. Since covid, I have been there both during weekdays and weekends. On the weekdays the few options they had were dry and stale, on the weekends a bit more options but their quality is not good enough to justify the $40 they charge, the lobster was soooo small and dry it was a joke. you can only get 1 lobster half at once, and the in between time for them to bring out a new batch of lobsters was looooooong. Staff was friendly though. If I came here after your video Iâd be absolutely disappointed. Honestly seeing you rave about a at-best-mediocre place kinda makes me doubt the legitimacy of your reviews. Like did they pay you to say good things about them or you are just too nice and say good things about all restaurants you visit? Sorry if I sound harsh, I just donât want to be excited about a restaurant because of your review only to be utterly disappointed when I actually visit.
As stated, stick to the lobsters, crab, and oysters, and you'll be fine. If you go in with high expectations at buffets in CA, you will be disappointed most times.
Literally nothing was fresh though đ I wouldnât eat here even if it was only $20. Trust me I do not have high standards for buffets
I too live close to this Luxe and found the experience underwhelming. I have eaten many times at Luxe Buffet Ontario and when the Westminster restaurant opened I was excited. However the quality of the food is not comparable to the Ontario restaurant.

Iâve never seen a good buffet for $20 or less here in California.

I am Vietnamese and go down to Little Saigon once a month. Glad to hear that this option is available. The mall--I thought it was empty. It's just a major draw as a Tesla Charging Station. Not sure if I would pull the trigger. When I go to the area, I do restaurants that specialize in just one specific dish. Lobster is tempting, though.

I will be in southern CA soon and was looking for good places to eat. Unfortunately after watching your incredible recommendation I went to Yelp to see what others were saying. Boy what an opposite view. Most of them were one star ratings with awful terrible views on the food and service. Don't know who to believe anymore.
yummo⊠oh, and the steamed fish, at about 2:30 looks like swai fish. and thats in most asian buffets as well. affordable, takes a beating but is always good no matter how much you cook it. ok, back to the video, i just started watching. lol

I was there a few years ago and was able to chow down 18 lobsters halves.
When i go there, I'm gonna start filming and tell them I'm a food vlogger and I'm there to feature their restaurant. Maybe I can get the same plateful of lobster at first seating.. đđđ

I really miss Kirin Buffet In Arcadia Westfield Mall. It had the best stuff. Even Zen buffet was very good too

The good old days were gone. Kirin was very very good in the beginning but gotten worse. The Zen at Rosemead was better the one on Huntington Dr.

Those prices ridiculous. We use to pay $20 to $40 pre COVID. Now I go from $30 to $60

The crab is puny and not up to par.
As was stated in this episode, that golden liquid substance coming from that small dispenser is exactly what he described it to be.
Imitation butter that the theaters pour into your popcorn.
Unfortunately, the pandemic affected the quality of those items that are served at this Buffet.
They have done away with the hand served flavored carousel that contained all of the wonderful flavors of ice cream and in my opinion it's no longer worth the price.
Interesting video Steve. Have you done a review of Santa Buffet in Santa Ana? I havenât tried it since the demographic area is not too Asian around there. Itâs also a $20 buffet so it doesnât really entice me to try it.
