Surah Maidah Ayat 48 in Arabic
(48) وَاَنۡزَلۡنَاۤ اِلَيۡكَ الۡكِتٰبَ بِالۡحَـقِّ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهِ مِنَ الۡكِتٰبِ وَمُهَيۡمِنًا عَلَيۡهِ فَاحۡكُمۡ بَيۡنَهُمۡ بِمَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِعۡ اَهۡوَآءَهُمۡ عَمَّا جَآءَكَ مِنَ الۡحَـقِّؕ لِكُلٍّ جَعَلۡنَا مِنۡكُمۡ شِرۡعَةً وَّمِنۡهَاجًاؕ وَلَوۡ شَآءَ اللّٰهُ لَجَـعَلَكُمۡ اُمَّةً وَّاحِدَةً وَّلٰـكِنۡ لِّيَبۡلُوَكُمۡ فِىۡ مَاۤ اٰتٰٮكُمۡ فَاسۡتَبِقُوۡا الۡخَـيۡرٰتِؕ اِلَى اللّٰهِ مَرۡجِعُكُمۡ جَمِيۡعًا فَيُنَبِّئُكُمۡ بِمَا كُنۡتُمۡ فِيۡهِ تَخۡتَلِفُوۡنَۙ
Surah Maidah Ayat 48 With Urdu Translation
اور (اے پیغمبر!) ہم نے تم پر سچی کتاب نازل کی ہے جو اپنے سے پہلی کتابوں کی تصدیق کرتی ہے اور ان (سب) پر شامل ہے تو جو حکم خدا نے نازل فرمایا ہے اس کے مطابق ان کا فیصلہ کرنا اور حق جو تمہارے پاس آچکا ہے اس کو چھوڑ کر ان کی خواہشوں کی پیروی نہ کرنا ہم نے تم میں سے ہر ایک (فرقے) کے لیے ایک دستور اور طریقہ مقرر کیا ہے اور اگر خدا چاہتا تو سب کو ایک ہی شریعت پر کر دیتا مگر جو حکم اس نے تم کو دیئے ہیں ان میں وہ تمہاری آزمائش کرنی چاہتا ہے سو نیک کاموں میں جلدی کرو تم سب کو خدا کی طرف لوٹ کر جانا ہے پھر جن باتوں میں تم کو اختلاف تھا وہ تم کو بتا دے گا
Surah Maidah Ayat 48 With English Translation
And unto thee have We revealed the Scripture with the truth, confirming whatever Scripture was before it, and a watcher over it. So judge between them by that which Allah hath revealed, and follow not their desires away from the truth which hath come unto thee. For each We have appointed a divine law and a traced-out way. Had Allah willed He could have made you one community. But that He may try you by that which He hath given you (He hath made you as ye are). So vie one with another in good works. Unto Allah ye will all return, and He will then inform you of that wherein ye differ.
