Lot's of changes since our last Wall Vlog and there is an additional surprise that I have eluded to, but never revealed till now. It's something that will add to our home privacy and bring a natural architectural element to the home.

Well sir, everyone does what they feel they must do for privacy, security and peace of mind. You seem to have pegged me as unfriendly, disrespectful and ignorant person. I find it difficult to wrap my head around someone coming to such drastic conclusions based on our home build. But, that is ok. Everyone is entitled to their opinion I suppose. Bottomline is we did not initially build a wall in the front of our home. We had a short wall around the three sides of the homesite that had retaining walls, for obvious safety reasons. Didn't want anyone to fall off into the rice fields . Over time, we realized that of our neighbors seemed to be comfortable walking onto the property and relieving us of various items such as bicycles, chairs, etc. Additionally, building on the road made for some sleepless nights with the motorcycles with no mufflers flying by the house. So the wall was born to send the message that theft of our property was not acceptable and additionally it provided some noise barrier from the road. After several months of our neighbors seeing any and everything going on in our home (lots of windows and doors for airflow) we decided to add the 3 foot bolo screen on the sides for privacy and to add some natural elements to a modern style home. My wife, who is a Filipina raised in this area, approves of everything we have done to our property. Bottomline is, that is really all that matters in the long run. Appreciate you watching and hate that you feel so negative about what we have done with our home.

@@eddieBoxer Life is full of risks Eddie. And as for impressing my Filipina, she was already impressed when I retired and moved here to be with her. It really comes down to me not being a fan of renting and I want to spend my "Golden Years" at a standard that I am used to. To tell the truth, if Jenn had her way, we would have bought a condo in the middle of Manila, but that is simply not me. Call me a "Fool" if you want, I can live with that. Really just a married man who loves his wife and wants to live a comfortable life. Have an awesome day sir!

Very risky building a house and your name is not on the deed, many foreigners were scammed by the Filipina lady, I would never throw my money away, you are not the owner. Good luck.

I suppose every marriage I entered into Eddie, was a risk for sure. I just happen to still believe Love is worth the risk. If it doesn't workout, I will survive! Thanks for watching sir!

@@rickbaker0217 you’re correct I was married to a Filipina lady, she had 2 kids from 2 different Filipino men, went to the states for 2 months return back to the Philippines a friend told me your wife was having an affair, I left her, marriage is risky but if you find a true lady you’ll be happy, good luck god bless.
