Just a heads up, the mount I used in this video has been discontinued and is no longer available. Moving forward, most (if not all) of the LC 1200/1250 GS and GSA's are going to use SKU: HMT.07.11001 for the Split Horn instead. This adds compatibility even for low-suspension models. denalielectronics.com/products/horn-mount-bmw-r1250-gs-gs-adventure-20-22?_pos=1&_sid=401875b8b&_ss=r
Is it a bad idea to install it with the cover on the diaphragm? I'm installing on a mini bike, and it fits perfect if I remove that cover, but I don't know the consequences of doing that
Sounds awesome! Honestly I wouldn't recommend removing the cover. It protects the diaphragm from debris and would most likely reduce the longevity of the unit. Also make sure the compressor is within 25 degrees of vertical when mounted. You may want to consider swapping the Compact Horn for the Split so the trumpet and the compressor are separate. It may open up install options for you.
from DENALI direct. Keep in mind it's been discontinued and isn't available anymore. Moving forward, most (if not all) of the LC 1200/1250 GS and GSA's are going to use SKU: HMT.07.11001 for the Split Horn instead. This adds compatibility even for low-suspension models.
Make sure the hex bolt head isn't resting on the "nub" for lack of better word on the inside of the bolt guide channel. It's the perfect length as there's just enough thread exposed past the nylock nut provided. If the head isn't fully seated I could see this happening. Also make sure you have the horn mount in the correct orientation.

did you make a connection video?
Hello! I've got the videos recorded, but I haven't edited the video yet. Sorry about that! There's many videos planned!
It works via osmosis apparently on this particular bike. Just mount "install" and there you go, it works.
Hi, where did you purchase the mount? Thanks

@@blackriverridesyeah, I can’t find them anywhere. Denali website have something for older year model. Thanks for the input tho.
Ciao posso chiederti cortesemente di fornirmi le dimensioni esatte della staffa di fissaggio grazie mille ne ho davvero bisogno
Are you keeping the original horn ?
Yep! Keeping the OE horn. Sorry I've been out of the game awhile!
That bolt from horn to mount is not long enough, not hitting thred locker
