Sharing this experience with you made me have a mix of emotion. I have tears in my eyes and joy in my heart. First of all, you are brave and that should be commended. Second, what a freeing experience to let go of your beautiful locks. I believe hair holds energy so shaving it all off is letting go of energy you may want to forget or be free from. I've been wanting to do this for awhile now due to my health and slow pace making it harder for me to take care of my hair. It would be one less thing to worry about or get frustrated over if I just shaved my head. I get insecure because of my weight, head type, teeth, etc... but I know that none of that matters if this is what's best for my time and my health and even my heart. Thank you for reminding me of that 😊

In d Caribbean we say, u shaped as a guitarra. One can never mistake u for a man..ll... I shaved my hair at one point in my life , get ready for d Real Wash n Go. Stingy sunkisses at noon, cool breeze at nite on ur scalp, was one of d best sensations I enjoyed. In d muslim culture men dont get it, idiots r stuck in believing a womans hair is her (only) beauty, dont waste ur energy explaing arabs, turkish folks they r stuck in a box. Enjoy u have liberated urself from other beliefs u dont know u carrying around all these years. Observe some who's entering ur life n leaving for no clear reason. Shaving ur hair is deeeeeep... My wife, who is also African, in her case from Uganda, has been shaving her head for five years and every day she finds herself startled anew from the joy in freedom that she gets from it. As a gift I'm going to pay for her to have her roots laser removed in the Autumn. I will quite miss the occasional slight bristliness but we both know that it will be another dimension of liberation for her and by extension for me.

looking great, in South Africa thats a brush cut ladies here leave no hair behind and look amazing. I suggested it last year to my GirlFriend and she did cut it all off she looked amazing (after two days getting used to it) now she gets different cut style.
