Cities Last Broadcast, the Swedish expert of paranormal electronics and Fractalyst, the Greek specialist of technical soundscapes, has created an equally disturbing and fascinating album of the finest dark ambient.
Phantasmora is an album about feverish madness, séances gone wrong and about grandma singing in many tongues as reality crumbles.
Recommended for fans of séances trapped in endless tape loops and ghostly transmissions through analog noise

Cryo chamber ne déçoit jamais , on est tous d'accord !
I’ve been dying to listen to this album in full. Now I have the chance. I can tell this album is awesome already judging from the first 2 tracks. One of the best collabs ever.
Edit: Listened it in full and this album was absolutely amazing. Might be my favorite album this year so far.
how many nights I slept or didn't sleep with a music from this channel
This is about as whimsical as dark ambient gets. It's like an old haunted house kind of whimsey. I enjoyed it a lot. The atmosphere was just perfect.
Pär is simply amazing. After many years of getting to know him and his music, he has never changed once in terms of the quality of his music and consistency with the genre. Every album is like a celebration. This is what good creative dark ambient sounds like, as if you are watching a movie, but you see the picture not on the screen, but in your head and in your imagination. A great album with a Victorian atmosphere and an old dusty attic furnished with large mirrors that seem to beckon you into another world on the other side of the reflection.
This is really making me think of Phantasmagoria. Sounds like it was part of the ost to it too =D
This album is really unique. I absolutely love it.
Pär Boström! I am glad to once again plunge into your sound spaces full of mysticism and melancholy. They create some kind of dark, but very cozy place somewhere in my subconscious. Big fan of past works for Cities Last Broadcast, Kammarheit and my favourite one - Altarmang. And again I am convinced that the Swedes are one of the best musicians in the genre. And of course big thanks to Fractalyst's author. Good sound art
Cities last broadcast is always such a vibe added right away to playlist on Spotify
Calm and beautiful music, it fits with the vooces in my head 😂😂😂
I get the distinct feeling that as years go by, these Cryo Chamber artists are getting better and better, very consistently. What a tremendous album and that first song is giving me the goosebumps. Thanks for this amazing music.
These melancholy voices are the spookiest thing I've heard today!
Yup, getting this one immediately. Perfect DND background for my poor Mirror Maker's session.
Very excited to listen; I've been waiting on this collab. I feel that they really compliment each others' styles.
wow, this is very interesting. the vocals are very fitting and really contribute.
Der erste Track ist so verdammt spooky. Irgendwie macht er mir Angst. Ein bisschen wie der Soundtrack eines beklemmenden Albtraums. 🖤🖤🖤💀💀💀
The only thing that can replace a CLB album as my favourite is a new CLB album. Which has just happened. Goodness, this is just perfect in its all-engulfing eeriness.
All these massive mirrors on a sepia-tone XIXth century-like picture, fading upside into the roof, give me such a tense of anxiety !
But this cover fits the music... Quite depressing, but very good anyway. It's sometimes good to explore a feeling which is initially quite disturbing, and then become more and more interesting as you dive into it. Good job CC, good job CLB & Fractalyst !
Haunting!
Wow, what a good surprise.
Fantastiskt, grymt, underbart. ☠🖤☠
listening now, i certainly needed this today. thank you
Love the artwork! Listening right now! Beautiful intro!
Nice, I was waiting for something like this
Amazing vibe to this one.
Straight to Bandcamp for this gem, its fantastic.
❤❤❤❤ this is great.
Estudiando a Nietzsche de noche en mi trabajo. Momento perfecto.
Masterpiece of masterpieces
Thank you.
Oh the voice from the first Underwater Sleep Orchestra album was also from Cities Last Broadcast then.
Also those are some great titles
Very likely, although if I remember correctly I think it was Fractalist on this particular track, but going through CLBs crazy analog studio toys
Very Good
This iS Neuron position🖤🎶🖤🕸️🎶🕸️
great work!
outstanding
OMG the first track... PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
This is amazing.
Beautiful
"You must choose wisely, for there are over seventeen mirrors in the mirror world!"

Who sings that song featured in the first track? I feel like I’ve heard that voice sampled in another dark, ambient-ish musical project before…
I believe it's Fractalyst who does the vocals on the first track, if not it's Cities Last Broadcast.
@@cryochamberlabel interesting. If it’s Cities Last Broadcast doing them, then I wonder if he might’ve also been the one who appeared in that other song I mentioned. The specific song I’m thinking of is “Exuvia” by Terra Tenebrosa, a terrifically frightening avant-garde metal band who are also from Sweden like he is; what intrigues me is that all the consistent members of that band have always been (were always? Dunno if they’re even still a thing anymore) anonymous, having only appeared in creepy masks in photos and live performances. The only thing we know about any of their musical histories is that two of them were in a well-known hardcore metal band called Breach; with that in mind, I can’t help but wonder if our friend here could’ve been one of the men behind those masks…
In any case, if you want to listen to the song and guess for yourself: the voice I’m thinking of comes in after the climax during an ambient outro characteristic of the songs on The Reverses, which is the album where it was featured and their last full-length to date.
Interesting theory! I am quite sure it's Pär Boström singing in Swedish - I think I recognize his voice, and the language is not Greek.
Regarding the metal band theory: I think it's unlikely. He is not a metal type as far as I got to know him. But I'm going to listen to the track and might change my mind...
I love mysteries and speculation, especially regarding my favourite musician. :D
Cheers
Update. Just listened to the track. I can see why you came up with that theory. It sounds very similar, and it is hard to tell because of the pitch bending and reverb effects, but I am still fairly sure it's not Pär singing. It does not fit his overall style.
@@samaelsevanhadarhow does it not fit his style?

худшее что пока слышал на cryo 1/10
мне наоборот понравился, всё время держит в напряжении, как в каком-то фильме ужасов
This music invokes primel fear like I have never felt listening to music. Its like the fae are awakening and are coming to consume the world in eldritch horror. and its allready to late..all you can do is watch and survive
