  • Rolling Over, The complete parents' guide to Rolling Over. When to start, what to know and much more in one complete step-by-step 7 min video.
    Watch the complete course here: bit.ly/2Sd1Ws4
    Update video: 2020.
    In this video you will learn the different exercises that we as parents can practice with our babies so that they learn how to Roll over in the most comfortable way. In this video we will focus on and learn:
    * Developing the ability to roll over properly
    * Developing a sense of mobility in space
    * Building blocks for the first steps for rolling over and eventual safe crawling
    * Building your baby’s confidence and positive reaction towards new situations.
    In this video you will watch and learn how you can lead your baby to roll over from side to side, while actually guiding them through the motions. With the use of a matt, a large towel, or a blanket, you can play with your baby and teach them how to roll over properly.
    In this exercise your baby will learn how to shift their weight, how to bring their arms to the center of their body, and how to cross their center. They will develop a sense of movement in space and get familiarized with the sides of their body. All of these exercises help your baby learn the capability of rolling over to both the front and back via the sides of their body.

    Note to Parents,
    Here you can find your baby development milestones with the stages of development of a baby during the first 24 months of his or hers life. These developmental milestones are divided into 4 categories: Gross motor skills, Fine motor skills, Social development and Language development
    Please note that your baby can carry out all stages of development as described, or only some of them at this time; give him the time and space to develop and cultivate his personal development, and work with him on the most important points. There is no need to start from scratch and go step by step; you can opt to go through these with your baby for all of the stages of development, or only some of them, all depending on the age of your baby and his personal development.
    Please note that these are not all of the developmental stages your baby needs to pass along as he grows, but only a small part of the various developmental stages during the first 24 months of his life. To get more developmental stages and different tools which will help your baby to realize his developmental potential, click here.
    We hope that these steps will give you the tools and the perspective needed to realize your baby's full developmental potential.
    Good Luck,

      That’s great! you can definitely use a yoga mat for this exercise. As Anat mentions in the video you can also use a large towel or a blanket. We would love to know how was the exercise for your baby and you? Did he love it? Did you? Let us know…

      @@BabyPillars he really enjoyed the peekaboo. I didn’t know that game was an essential part for babies development. When I first saw the video I used a blanket and he rolled over back to tummy the next day. It was awesome

      Great to hear it, Alexis. We encourage every parent to watch this video: czcams.com/video/aISXCw0Pi94/video.html. It is not our video yet it has incredible value for parents with little ones at home.

      Jennifer, you can use a yoga mat for this exercise, a large towel or a blanket. You do not need to buy a specific mat like this one.

    Where do you find a mat like that?

    • @BabyPillars
      @BabyPillars  Před 2 lety

      Hi Amanda. Unfortunately, we do not have more mats like this one, our community grabbed them all as soon as we brought some. You can find mats like this one on amazon a bit more expensive but does the work 😉

      I use a clean yoga mat

    • @BabyPillars
      @BabyPillars  Před 2 lety

      Yep, you can also use a yoga mat or a blanket, the only thing we recommend is to use one as thick as you can. Sometimes the yoga mats on the market are a bit thin and don't give your baby the support he or she need.

    What if baby cry's while doing this..

    • @BabyPillars
      @BabyPillars  Před 2 lety

      Hi Pooja, if your baby cries through the process, you should stop. when your baby cries he doesn’t learn and we do not want him to have a bad experience during the process.
      So, if he cries stop, care for your baby and when he settles try again… at every point if you see that your baby isn’t comfortable or starts crying, stop care for your baby and only then proceed.
