This was the last movie I saw with my grandma before she was hospitalized! She sees every new horror release with me, and at the end of this one she turned to me and said, "This might be my favorite movie ever." I'm a proud grandson 😭
I really like Tara’s character development. For most of the 5th movie, she was hospital bound and could barely even crawl away but in this movie she’s a lot more badass especially when she stabbed Ethan in the mouth and told him to die a virgin! 🔪
I have enjoyed all the Scream movies. The Ghostface in this movie wanted all the smoke. I'm glad Kirby gave Roman Bridger his props. Also predicted all the killers in the Scream movies.

To me, this is the best Scream since the first two. Wes Craven would've been proud. It's very a little similar to Scream 2 but it worked for me because I love Scream 2. I do think Chad is the very much the new Dewey. I see where Donna is coming from about Neve Campbell and Sidney. Personally, I feel Sidney deserves a happy ending and she's not really important storywise moving forward even though she did start Scream. I honestly didn't miss her in this new film.
I loved the Tara + Chad romance, it was so cute. Noticed you guys cut out Tara/Chad's kiss at the end lol. My theater cheered and clapped at that scene. It reminded me alot of Dewey. Chad's such a great character and Jenna is so stunning and her acting is on another level like holy shit. I loved Liana's performance as Quinn at the end. I saw her in Dig and she gave me Baby Firefly vibes. Saw her cast in Scream 6, I was HOPING she was going to be a killer because she plays GREAT villains. Scream 6 is easily my favorite sequel now and this movie satisfied me as a Scream fan. Some of the parallels to Scream 2 was accidental. The original ending wasn't in a movie theater, but a warehouse. But the warehouse didn't work out. Fun fact: Dermot's daughter in Insidious Chapter 3 is also named Quinn too. As for Chad, once he saw Ghostface he grabbed Tara, his crush, and RAN and both thought the others would follow. That's just logic lmao once you see Ghostface, you fucking RUN. Don't know what's confusing about that part. It was smartly written. Your not going to leave your crush there and try to fight especially since Chad got stabbed last movie alot LOL. Chad is the GLUE to The Core Four and easily probably the biggest heart of the movie. How tf can anyone hate his character? He IS the muscle and comic relief. Without Chad? Tara and Sam would be fucking dead lmao. He was the first character in the franchise to fight Ghostface ONE ON ONE like that and kicked their ass. How tf can you hate someone with as big of heart as Chad? Mason's sooo good and the MVP of this movie.

I really enjoyed this film. I wasn't a fan of Sam in the last one but in this one she step up in her role as a final girl. My biggest issue with this film is too many people lived. They didn't kill any of the returning characters including Gail and Kirby. You cannot convince me that Chad would have survived that attack. He was stabbed at least 20 times in the chest and they somehow missed all major organs? THERE IS NO WAY!

If they make scream 7 and basically want to make it like the 3rd movie, they should all be in Hollywood or something because maybe Netflix wants to do a crime series with all the survivors and this is where they bring back everyone who survived. Cameraman and sorority sisters from scream 2. Detective mark and his partner from the 3rd movie. Core 4, Danny, Kirby, Gale and Sidney. Also the actress who played Jennifer said she wants to come back to the franchise. She could have survived, she was stabbed once in the stomach just like Kirby, it's quite possible she did survived. Also Melissa Barrera said she would like Salma Hayek to be sam's mom, which would be a cool addition to the franchise. Remember what Randy said about trilogies anything that happened in the past is not at rest, what if Christine was the ghostface killer following Sidney and Tatum across town before the party. What if there was another killer from the beginning but stu and roman never knew because billy and Christine's relationship was on the downlow.😮😮😮
So those are some pretty good ideas. Minus Selma Hayek being Sam's mother. She was 30 in '96. Unless she was a teacher that seduced Billy, it doesn't make sense.

Same here. I loved Chad and Tara. Chad is the muscle of the Core Four. I was honestly surprised that these guys didn't like Chad and complained when he ran with Tara. Once you see Ghostface, you run and expect others to follow. Chad was the MVP of the movie imo. Him and Tara were so freaking adorable and I was hoping he'd do a Dewey at the end. This is the first Scream since the original that I felt completely satisfied by the end & Jenna had amazing chemistry with Mason. Tara was such a little badass. I prefer Chad to Mindy aswell. Mindy is good but Chad has more to his character and the way he kicked Ghostface's asses multiple times? The only character to do so in ever? He completely won me over and would do anything to protect the Core Four.

Also by the way Billy isn’t a Ghost he’s just a hallucination in Sam’s head, so everything about Billy is just how Sam is picturing Billy in her head, so no they aren’t trying to make Billy look like a good guy, also Chad is a great character, I like him more then Mindy, cause he’s funnier to me, but I love all Core 4 members, also Chad didn’t purposefully leave everyone in the apartment, him and Tara thought everyone was running behind with them, so they were confused to not see Sam and Mindy behind them, also Quinn and Ethan may look weak and short, but they could still have done what they did either way, you also gotta remember there’s been weaker looking short killers before, Mrs Loomis, Jill, Charlie, Amber Etc, but yeah just wanted to point out some of these things.

I love how Chad (the man) immediately dips and drags Tara along while the women stay back and fight with no hesistation. I love how the Scream franchise has always had female empowerment undertones.
OK, fast forward to the very end of the conversations. I love y’all’s conversations by the way. In scream seven I’m hoping that we will get more camera time with the core four and into building their relationships like they did in Scream one through four. This will be scream seven and practically scream three. Scream three was really great. How Dewey end Gale fell in love at the end, which I’m hoping Chad and Tara do but also they need to protect each other as family and be very careful and just make it so suspenseful. That’s what we love about these movies.

Sam isn’t possessed and I personally love the fact that she is embracing her darker side to survive. I don’t think they are making Billy seem like a cool good guy. I think they are trying to make the audience doubt Sam’s sanity which is smart because a lot of people always wanted Sydney, Dewy, or Gale to be the killer. So I think leaving that door open to make the audience doubt Sam is a smart as hell.
This movie didn’t disappoint me at all I loved it sm. Ghostface was at his scariest cause I screamed a lot in theaters💀. The kills with 3 standouts were pretty gory from chopped up body, bashed in face (rip Anika best of the new characters), and stab to the eye. There are plot holes like the “prosthetic fake body” that Bailey somehow thinks would fool the police department or how they would explain how quinn is alive after multiple witnesses seeing her die.
I love this movie so much & the Ghostface costumes from left to right: Charlie, Jill, Amber, Richie, Billy, Stu, Nancy, Mickey & Roman; Just letting you know.
I think them not wanting to spend movie for Nev Campbell is messed up however I think it is actually a smart move to not have her in the movie until a finale show down where they bring her back.
After watching this, I just kinda think that all the Ghostfaces in this movie is not so different anyway. It's fun fact to me that when the trailer mentions that the Ghostface who called Gale that "I'm something different." makes me like, "Nope." Not at all but Sam who finally wearing the mask and use it against the father is yes. That is something different lol.
I loved this movie. Might like it more than the first movie. Also I think at this point everyone can agree that Sam would be an amazing Ghost Face. Maybe in the next movie, she might finally put on the mask and start killing randoms.
Fans have complained that the filmmakers are afraid to kill off the main cast, but I think they're not killing Mindy because they remember how everyone was upset about Randy's death in Scream 2. And I think they're not killing off Chad because he's the new Dewey. Also, they keep dropping hints that Sam is going to eventually slip into her father's shoes by Scream VII as Ghostface, but I think it's a misdirection. I think Tara will be the one who turns into the role Ghostface by Scream VII.

Scream 6 for me was great. It had it bad moments. But this one was much better than the last one. The opening in this is one of favorites. I can't say in which order but I like the opening. Having Samara Weaving character be the Drew Berrymore Casey Becker of this opening was great move. The kills in this movie was brutal. I like how Ghostface blending in with the crowd of folks in Halloween costumes in New York and how it was difficult for the main characters to escape made it more scarier. The surviving characters from the last movie Sam, Tara Mindy and Chad grew for me as well. Especially Chad who was literally fighting Ghostface in which impress me. Mindy and Kirby having their moment on best movies was great. I was happy that one of the things that I wanted came true with them having three Ghostface killers. I didn't have a problem with Ghostface using a gun. I like the change. It just shows the length Ghostface is willing to go to kill their enemies. And I feel Ghostface still used a knife. I laugh when Gale got hit again but this time instead of Sidney but by Tara. The scene with the shrine of stuff from the Scream movies was a cool scene. I understand the writers for keeping Gale alive because she's the only legacy character. And it wouldn't make sense to kill her off after they killed off Dewey in the last one. But maybe in the next movie I can see it happening. I got two out of three Ghostface killers. I knew Quinn was the killer because their wasn't a body and I knew her father Detective Wayne Bailey was the killer because his voice sounded like the killer. Ethan was a surprise. I thought he was a red herring to throw the audience off. But I have to give the writers credit for fooling me with that one. My biggest issues with the movie is the revealed of Ghostface being the family of Richie. I hated that they went the Scream 2 route. The whole monologue like I get it. It a Scream thing where the Ghostface killer or killers have to explain their reason. I just wished they just have Ghostface say f*ck it. I seen to many Ghostface of the past make this mistake. Pretty much acknowledging their mistake and say you know what I'll give you the shorter version as to why I'm gonna kill you and then go for the kill. I'm not gonna waste any time. Chad surviving the Ghostfaces attacks hurt the character. Like I get it. He's suppose to be the new Dewey. But c'mon he got stabbed like 10 to 15 times. I don't remember just assuming. But I felt his death would've been more impactful and sad to the audience because he was trying to protect the girls and he died like a hero. I felt the writers missed the mark. I just wished one Ghostface didn't die in the movie but survived to call Sam at the end of the movie to tell her there was a third Ghostface. And telling her that it was fun messing with her and her friends. And how fun it was to analyze her strengths and weakness. So now they know everything they need to know. They will be ready for Sam in their next encounter roll credits. But anyway sorry for this being long. But I hope the rest of three day is enjoyable. Stay safe, take care and stay amazing.

Great reactions yall. I adore the core 4. Chad fulfilling his Dewey prophecy by having another fake-out death and having a romance with one of the leads. I disagree with Chad not adding a lot when he was one of emotional cores of the movie. He was the main person pushing the family narrative. I feel like people forget that Dewey basically got his ass kicked in every single movie (Chad basically fills the same role). My hot take is that I do not think these movies need the other legacy characters anymore. I love Sidney but the story no longer requires her, just give her the happy ending with her family. Otherwise her story would just be a small part like in Scream 5 (Gale is the only one I won't mind returning if they really need a legacy character in the sequel).

Interesting point: the name of Sam's therapist is Dr., or Mr. Stone. In Scream 3, the last name of Jennifer's bodyguard was also Stone. I wonder if there is a connection there... perhaps they're related. Maybe that's the REAL reason the therapist didn't want her as a patient anymore. Her being the legacy of the man responsible for everything. Perhaps in Scream VII it will be revealed.

If they make scream 7 and basically want to make it like the 3rd movie, they should all be in Hollywood or something because maybe Netflix wants to do a crime series with all the survivors and this is where they bring back everyone who survived. Cameraman and sorority sisters from scream 2. Detective mark and his partner from the 3rd movie. Core 4, Danny, Kirby, Gale and Sidney.
Also the actress who played Jennifer said she wants to come back to the franchise. She could have survived, she was stabbed once in the stomach just like Kirby, it's quite possible she did survived. Also Melissa Barrera said she would like Salma Hayek to be sam's mom, which would be a cool addition to the franchise. Remember what Randy said about trilogies anything that happened in the past is not at rest, what if Christine was the ghostface killer following Sidney and Tatum across town before the party. What if there was another killer from the beginning but stu and roman never knew because billy and Christine's relationship was on the downlow.😮😮😮
So those are some pretty good ideas. Minus Selma Hayek being Sam's mother. She was 30 in '96. Unless she was a teacher that seduced Billy, it doesn't make sense.

Same here. I loved Chad and Tara. Chad is the muscle of the Core Four. I was honestly surprised that these guys didn't like Chad and complained when he ran with Tara. Once you see Ghostface, you run and expect others to follow. Chad was the MVP of the movie imo. Him and Tara were so freaking adorable and I was hoping he'd do a Dewey at the end. This is the first Scream since the original that I felt completely satisfied by the end & Jenna had amazing chemistry with Mason. Tara was such a little badass. I prefer Chad to Mindy aswell. Mindy is good but Chad has more to his character and the way he kicked Ghostface's asses multiple times? The only character to do so in ever? He completely won me over and would do anything to protect the Core Four.

Also by the way Billy isn’t a Ghost he’s just a hallucination in Sam’s head, so everything about Billy is just how Sam is picturing Billy in her head, so no they aren’t trying to make Billy look like a good guy, also Chad is a great character, I like him more then Mindy, cause he’s funnier to me, but I love all Core 4 members, also Chad didn’t purposefully leave everyone in the apartment, him and Tara thought everyone was running behind with them, so they were confused to not see Sam and Mindy behind them, also Quinn and Ethan may look weak and short, but they could still have done what they did either way, you also gotta remember there’s been weaker looking short killers before, Mrs Loomis, Jill, Charlie, Amber Etc, but yeah just wanted to point out some of these things.

OK, fast forward to the very end of the conversations. I love y’all’s conversations by the way. In scream seven I’m hoping that we will get more camera time with the core four and into building their relationships like they did in Scream one through four. This will be scream seven and practically scream three. Scream three was really great. How Dewey end Gale fell in love at the end, which I’m hoping Chad and Tara do but also they need to protect each other as family and be very careful and just make it so suspenseful. That’s what we love about these movies.

Sam isn’t possessed and I personally love the fact that she is embracing her darker side to survive. I don’t think they are making Billy seem like a cool good guy. I think they are trying to make the audience doubt Sam’s sanity which is smart because a lot of people always wanted Sydney, Dewy, or Gale to be the killer.
So I think leaving that door open to make the audience doubt Sam is a smart as hell.

This movie didn’t disappoint me at all I loved it sm. Ghostface was at his scariest cause I screamed a lot in theaters💀. The kills with 3 standouts were pretty gory from chopped up body, bashed in face (rip Anika best of the new characters), and stab to the eye. There are plot holes like the “prosthetic fake body” that Bailey somehow thinks would fool the police department or how they would explain how quinn is alive after multiple witnesses seeing her die.
Yeah there's some plot holes but it doesn't take you out the movie which is good

It's fun fact to me that when the trailer mentions that the Ghostface who called Gale that "I'm something different." makes me like, "Nope." Fans have complained that the filmmakers are afraid to kill off the main cast, but I think they're not killing Mindy because they remember how everyone was upset about Randy's death in Scream 2. And I think they're not killing off Chad because he's the new Dewey.
Also, they keep dropping hints that Sam is going to eventually slip into her father's shoes by Scream VII as Ghostface, but I think it's a misdirection. I think Tara will be the one who turns into the role Ghostface by Scream VII.

Great and fun reaction! Can’t wait for Scream 7 (if they go all out) = the dream cast with the survivors, also if they include Sidney & Mark Kincaid, even the Sam and Tara’s mom/both parents and probably more people depending. Wondering if they are gonna take the risk of being similar like Scream 3 going to Hollywood or different direction.

Scream 6 for me was great. It had it bad moments. But this one was much better than the last one. The opening in this is one of favorites. I can't say in which order but I like the opening. Having Samara Weaving character be the Drew Berrymore Casey Becker of this opening was great move. The kills in this movie was brutal. I like how Ghostface blending in with the crowd of folks in Halloween costumes in New York and how it was difficult for the main characters to escape made it more scarier. The surviving characters from the last movie Sam, Tara Mindy and Chad grew for me as well. Especially Chad who was literally fighting Ghostface in which impress me. Mindy and Kirby having their moment on best movies was great. I was happy that one of the things that I wanted came true with them having three Ghostface killers. I didn't have a problem with Ghostface using a gun. I like the change. It just shows the length Ghostface is willing to go to kill their enemies. And I feel Ghostface still used a knife. I laugh when Gale got hit again but this time instead of Sidney but by Tara. The scene with the shrine of stuff from the Scream movies was a cool scene. I understand the writers for keeping Gale alive because she's the only legacy character. And it wouldn't make sense to kill her off after they killed off Dewey in the last one. But maybe in the next movie I can see it happening. I got two out of three Ghostface killers. I knew Quinn was the killer because their wasn't a body and I knew her father Detective Wayne Bailey was the killer because his voice sounded like the killer. Ethan was a surprise. I thought he was a red herring to throw the audience off. But I have to give the writers credit for fooling me with that one.
My biggest issues with the movie is the revealed of Ghostface being the family of Richie. I hated that they went the Scream 2 route. The whole monologue like I get it. It a Scream thing where the Ghostface killer or killers have to explain their reason. I just wished they just have Ghostface say f*ck it. I seen to many Ghostface of the past make this mistake. Pretty much acknowledging their mistake and say you know what I'll give you the shorter version as to why I'm gonna kill you and then go for the kill. I'm not gonna waste any time. Chad surviving the Ghostfaces attacks hurt the character. Like I get it. He's suppose to be the new Dewey. But c'mon he got stabbed like 10 to 15 times. I don't remember just assuming. But I felt his death would've been more impactful and sad to the audience because he was trying to protect the girls and he died like a hero. I felt the writers missed the mark. I just wished one Ghostface didn't die in the movie but survived to call Sam at the end of the movie to tell her there was a third Ghostface. And telling her that it was fun messing with her and her friends. And how fun it was to analyze her strengths and weakness. So now they know everything they need to know. They will be ready for Sam in their next encounter roll credits. But anyway sorry for this being long. But I hope the rest of three day is enjoyable. Stay safe, take care and stay amazing.

Great reactions yall. I adore the core 4. Chad fulfilling his Dewey prophecy by having another fake-out death and having a romance with one of the leads. I disagree with Chad not adding a lot when he was one of emotional cores of the movie. He was the main person pushing the family narrative. I feel like people forget that Dewey basically got his ass kicked in every single movie (Chad basically fills the same role).
My hot take is that I do not think these movies need the other legacy characters anymore. I love Sidney but the story no longer requires her, just give her the happy ending with her family. Otherwise her story would just be a small part like in Scream 5 (Gale is the only one I won't mind returning if they really need a legacy character in the sequel).

Interesting point: the name of Sam's therapist is Dr., or Mr. Stone. In Scream 3, the last name of Jennifer's bodyguard was also Stone. I wonder if there is a connection there... perhaps they're related. Maybe that's the REAL reason the therapist didn't want her as a patient anymore. Her being the legacy of the man responsible for everything. Perhaps in Scream VII it will be revealed.
