The main reason for inflation in the US for the first three years (it's less than wage growth now - under 3%) was because of a big tax cut for companies during Trump's time that wasn't paid for, so it went straight to the debt.
Along with $4 trillion given out for COVID relief, that $4 TRILLION put a huge $8 trillion into the economy, while the economy shrank by 3.6%, making prices rise even more after COVID. It took 4 years of steady growth to bring down the worst effects of the problem trump started.
If those tax cuts for the rich are approved again, experts warn it could make prices go up again and cause trouble in the bond market. Some say that mixed with 10% tariff he wants on all imports will, not might WILL cause a recession and it could turn into a nightmare depression.

Today when VP Harris introduced President Biden, I was choking back tears …. The emotion took me back to November 2020. The day was when it officially announced he had won the election. Days of nail biting waiting for the electoral votes to be finalized. I remember that day like it was yesterday. I couldn’t stop myself from screaming and crying, so full of joy.
