Male chimpanzees behave wildly by showing off their power on the display, but please understand that they are chimpanzee's habits.
動作は激しいですが、大けがさせる攻撃はしていません。
普段は仲間や子供達に毛繕いしたり遊んだり友好的に過ごしています。
Although it works violently, it doesn't attack as much as it makes it serious.
Chimpanzees usually spend time grooming and playing with friends and children.

It's amazing to me how male chimps can be so violent and aggressive with other group members but be so caring and gentle with the babies...
Ryu is NOT my favorite chimp thats for sure.
At least Kazumi and the babies had the other two ladies trying to protect them from the crazoids! But yeah, I find all that agression hard to watch. I know if it was me Ryu and Riki would be getting some good slaps back!! It looked like one of the twins was limping after the attack😥. Maybe they can send the boys to Tama for some remedial behavioural training!!😛
Guess i missed this video when it was posted. Great camera work following the action. I didnt notice anything too violent from Ryu. He was moving at a medium pace compared to his full potential and doing alot of posturing when catching up to Kazumi. A few slaps as usual. He is so good with his babies. Thank u for the video!!

Looks like Choe's Ryu fav play mate... Maybe he knows that she's the smaller of the two and Ricki can be a lil rough when playing. ☺️
So I see the Beverly hillbillies are back together, nice to see the twins learning evade pretty quickly, hope and pray for this troupe of chimps all the time......
I've rewatch this video many times through the year because it's interesting to see the body languages and facial expressions of everybody in this troop.
I found Kazumis predicament with Ryu stalking her to be sad @ 2:53 and 3:35 😢

Rolly trying to hide is just too much...she knows you can't hide from Ryu nobody can.
They need water fresh running water to drink and to play in...

That was kind of funny crazy, pounding on everybody screaming.
I do not understand why people are laughing when he is being aggressive with her and the twin babies, slapping and hitting her and trying to hurt her and she has no place to go to get away from him and he is causing the others to get excited as well so that there are many chasing her and the babies now! I found it very worrisome and a bit stressful...but NOT funny!

My gosh its so noisy for the chimps. Can you sound proof the room so they don't have to listen to the noise...Must be awful for the chimps...

@@PrimateProductions I've now watched the entirety 4 times at various speeds. I'm guessing it was Ryu just displaying and exercising his dominance. In general just being an ass like alpha chimps seem to enjoy doing. Perhaps they see it as a way of relieving the stress felt from keeping the group safe, they do so much. LoL
It’s good that the females were helping mom. They fight than they make up. It’s weird
May be the mother with twin is the prettiest that’s why the male keeps bothering her as if he wants something of her.

Normally Ryu is very good to his family according to the person who recorded the video, it’s in the description
Yes! You can see how careful he is when one of the girls can or bring hit. He's learning them to the Chimpanzee way of life.

Ryu needs to get put back outdoors. This is crazy poor Kazumi so afraid of that aggressive bully. This right here will make me stop watching this family

Yes I did read it and always read them, I'm just saying I just don't like seeing Kazumi so afraid and running for protection. I still love this family but so used to Momoko and the former Alpha Kenta family.
