Really well thought design! Im just wondering one thing, How are you dosing the plastic when the mould is open? Closable nozzle? or just dose a bit less then the shot capacity so it won't run out?
It looks to me that the screw pump only fills an empty cavity fixed to the stationary mold. Then the screw pump along with its housing act as a plunger to that cavity when the other half of the mold presses against the stationary one, when the molds open up the springs suck air back into the cavity. So there's no nozzle leak because the pump always pushes plastic into an empty cavity.
is the screw ball bearings on gears side enough?it seems over-load for the horrizontal pressure..maybe i am wrong because of only not complete views of the machine structure.
The pressure created by the piston when the mold is closing act as a push for the piston that feeds the material, and also as a back / counterpressure to compact the material so it doesn't form cavities on the surface of the part. Instead of pushing the piston in a cylinder you push the cylinder. This system is easy but not for component that requires high volume of material.
if u look closely he doesn't push the screw he push the pipe to the other side u can notice those springs when the cold side of the mold presses against the extruder it pushes the whole mechanism back so it creates pressure to inject the plastic very smart idea

I did research on it, I test on some rotation and scaled it. But you can setting up the parameter directly on the machine. Just like injection machine ordunary.

@@willyost8886 Oh ok, there are two cause. First because the spring move the nozzle plate back, so make room/space in barrel. Second: when screw rotate the plastic push the nozzle plate back. (Nozzle plate mean: the nozzle that fix with the top plate of mini mold)
I used 60T:20T (15mm width) on the left and 60T:30T on the right (20mm width) why there are different, it's on research. So I want to know what the strength and durability both of them. The distance of pulleys is 136mm. So the length pg both belt also different.

It has check ring, so could hold the pressure. Using the auger, the plastic will move back when do inject.

How does the plastic not come out when the molds open and the screw is making a shot?
We measured the shot volume. The plastic cold already when the movement mold stop and hold around 2 seconds (it called cooling time)
