I totally understand not talking while working. I love the music you choose, as it is relaxing for me, as well. It allows me to concentrate on brush marks, brushing away excess water or color, etc.. so glad I discovered you, Ellen. Beginner steps, while making something pretty, it is just what I need.

Beautiful! I am so glad I found your channel, I was ready to throw in the towel because I couldn't seem to "get" how to watercolor, then I found you! You are such a great artist and teacher! Do you think you could do a Gingerbread Man and/or house? Also a decorated Christmas tree? I really liked the snowman paintings, maybe something similar to those.

Is there an issue with the bottom portion of the paper not accepting the paint?
confused by comment? I can say the cotton cold press is a thirsty paper- it soaks in the paint.
@@ellencrimitrent thank you. It could be my phone but the color of one of the flowers toward the bottom of the paper seemed paler than the others. The painting is inspiring and beautiful!
