Man the Woody slamming the Gasser into the wall was straight savagery.
Man, rubbing is racing and I remembered how he raced me in the 2nd heat race, pushing me off the track. If Swerving Herb wouldn't have been paid to cut me off in the last race, I was gonna go for it again.

What a hoot! It's one thing to watch the races when you don't have a dog in the hunt, but I gotta say, I had some nervous anticipation on whether I would be humiliated by submitting a last place finisher or have something that put up some good competition. My '40 Woodie put up a good challenge. Was bummed by the 2nd and 4th races and the DNFs, but it ran pretty strong and hard and provided some good entertainment.
Thanks @3DBotmaker for all the hard work that you put into these videos and for letting us knuckleheads send you our stuff for the KotM races. I've already got my plans together for the next time that KotM is open for registration, which I understand may be in 2022.

Memories lol. I'm 51 now. When I 12 or 13 I had the 40's woody and knocked out the back windows and stuck 4 blackcats in the back and lit them. It was a flat bed after that. lol
I sometimes like to play these videos in a playlist non stop while at work, even without watching the videos I would listen to them talk all day. So satisfying.

Whoever made the gaser's suspension is smart. Keeping the front up makes it understeery but stable enough, like in oval racing. First time I've seen It and its brilliant
You do realize they just added weight to an otherwise bone stock car right ?
@@kenh3757 no the way he has the front raised up. I know he put weight in front and raised the front, but usually a higher ride height in the front adds more stability. I plan on using the Ford gt40, a very loose but potentially fast car that will take the series by storm. I plan to use weight and have adjustable ride height to ensure its stability.
@@kenh3757 more to it than that. i won't go into detail, but its far from stock, stock paint is about all it has.

Huh i thought CJ would lose, especially coming out of the corners, but that car is a beauty
I didnt think the small front tires would be helpful but it really helped him on the corners keeping momentum and being able to bounce off hits and straighten out his car. What a race

Man, I got robbed when Jerry Rigged pushed me off the track in the second heat. At least I got to pay him back in the 3rd heat race.

My parents had one of these 64 Chev 2 wagons and it was white. As an 18 year old,, I loved this car it came with a 283 cu. in. V8 and the reliable Power Slide!. That sucker was very lite and was quick. I see why it did so well here!!! Dad took care of that car. Z.K.

@@77bc I think you know something about physics! Skinny wheels up front. Wide stance. I knew you would win. Perhaps a tiny bit more weight a little bit ahead of the rear axle (kind mid of car) for a little more "downhill horsepower." But great racing! I'm honored and actual racer replied! #FanboyingNow
@@EddieDexterStewart that was actually @cj hines with the Jerry Rigged gasser. I do believe that the skinny wheels help control the front end on the ribbed track. Less contact patch to ride ON a rib. At least that's my theory.

My soul has trekked through a dessert of DieCast has beens to the base of The Mountain of Kings and is panting for a 2D club banger to get me to the top....yet all I hear is empty silence at the end. Great race. Sad face.

Bret turned across CJ in Race 2 in the final corner, CJ had nowhere to go so Bret ended up getting a bad exit. Imo the vengeance in Race 3 was uncalled for a simply bad sportsmanship. At that point in Race 2, Bret had already blocked CJ from passing coming of the previous corner and because of that went high into the final corner leaving the inside open for CJ, when he tried to close that door CJ turned him and he couldn't recover coming off the corner.
The second way to see it is that CJ pushed Bret into the corner, which would make the move a bump and run and frankly I approve of such tactics. If someone is slower than you and they can't handle a push from behind, nudge them wide and get ahead.
Either way I think Bret was in the wrong for both the Race 2 and 3 Incidents and am very happy CJ made it through.
True just plain dangerous driving and unsportsmanlike. GOOD.
CJ turned me between 2 and 3, pushed me into the outside wall going into 3, which caused me to come down across his nose. That wasn't a block.

Adding a point to a driver when they're the only vehicle to cross the line in a race could end up breaking ties without a grudge match race occasionally. (5 points for 1st place, 6 points when you're the only racer to cross the finish line)
