    hi, what's the process when you get your rental car? if i purchase online beforehand, do i still need to show my id and fill out forms and all that?

      We did not rent the car. we took mass transit. But when you come out from the baggage claim there are so many car rental offices. I am sure they will ask for some form of ID like drivers lic/Passport even though you book it online.

    Did you have to buy tickets for the Grayline transportation?

    • @BhanusKitchenBhanusRasoi
      @BhanusKitchenBhanusRasoi Před 5 lety +1

      Yes, we paid roughly 50 USD/Person for airport transfer roundtrip, KEF Airport to Reykjavik Hotels
      . We purchased tickets online

      There are many car rentals which will provide u cars from airport itself.....in order to cut some expenses.

      @@NilamjyotiSharma, you are right...car rental comes out cheaper compare to paid transpiration, especially for a group of 4 or more travelers.

    How far is the airport from Reykjavik? I am afraid of renting a car and getting lost in that scarcely populated huge island. I think is safer to get the bus. What do you think ?

      It's only 45mins to Downtown Reykjavik so it's not far from KEF Airport

      You’ll be fine. The signs are pretty visible. It’s when you venture out into the country that you might have some troubles Lol
