    You guys do anything with a 14’ XTS-v sport I’ve looked and looked but can’t seem to find any kind of aftermarket support besides tune

      @schmidtytuning8954  Před 2 lety +3

      theres basically no aftermarket for the XTS vsport, but it uses the same LF3 engine, so many lf3/lf4 parts would probably work on it.
      We have tuned XTSVsports but not much more, id say a flex sensor and an E85 blend with a tune would make a huge difference on an otherwise stock car though

      @@fatdan172501 has a lot to do with how its been maintained, but any performance vehicle with nearly 100k miles is going to need some love, so I wouldnt buy one without some money set aside for repair and maintenence, especially if you plan to modify it and potentially add 100-300 horsepower to the car.
      For the most part though they are sturdy cars and handle the power well

      Cool. I’m thinking of trading my SHO for one. I want to basically do an ethanol blend tune on CTS V sport. I know how much an E blend wakes up turbo cars with a tune 😈

    Why can't CTS V-SPORT's see ATS-V hp gains?

    • @schmidtytuning8954
      @schmidtytuning8954  Před 2 lety +2

      CTS Vsports and ATSVs are different cars with different parts and builds. The ATSV has a bunch of upgraded parts that just work better, mainly the turbos are simply much better and capable of 100+more rwhp than a Vsports stock turbos but with the right parts a Vsport can see the same HP as an ATSV. This particular Vsport with its weight level to run that was is likely making 650 rwhp or so which is more than most ATSV make but its a larger heavier car

      @@schmidtytuning8954 greatly appreciate this response. I just knew there was more power to be had out of my V-SPORT than what the Trifecta tune(felt the difference) offered. My next and last question before asking about invoicing. Do you think I get into the 550whp range without converting to E85 (not very abundant locally) I'm thinking upgrades to the: turbos, fuel cam, pump, ECU, add down pipes etc. Basically everything but going to ethanol??

    • @schmidtytuning8954
      @schmidtytuning8954  Před 2 lety +4

      @@justingordon2293 You may be able to get up there in that range with upgraded turbos such as the turbobay LF4 turbos and everything else , although boosted cars really thrive on good fuel, even just a can of boostane a tank would help a bunch over plain 93, E is a huge help though, even if you could grab some 5 gallon jugs and ran a lower E blend E30-E40 even is night and day
