I just wish it came out on IOS. But I’ve got it on my Fire tablet, and it’s absolutely amazing.
It's so easy on the battery that my phone has started living longer just cuz I'm playing this instead of doing other things. It's less of a drain than browsing the internet.

Its because of the 5 minutes of crowd work between every god-damned roll.
1000 rolls also did not help reduce the play time - I'm not a mathematician but isn't that like 50 rolls per room? And most of us Samaritans are out here just accepting our 3 rolls, like fools.
@@greydragon8973 I think that might be 1000 dice rolls, as in, if you roll all 5 of your characters' dice, that's 5 rolls. So maybe more like around 10 rolls per room on average.

I'm really loving this game. I got it because of NL and it's a clever combination of dice and RPG gameplay. Sometimes you get really op with the right items and steel is so powerful.
So many game types and unlocks definitely a great buy will keep you busy for hours.
When you start craving variety, both hard or easy mode do a bunch to mix it up.
Blursed mode is pretty nifty as well!

Idk what the story is on why NL didn’t/couldn’t shave on the trip. But if he didn’t pack an electric razor cuz of cords or lack of portability or something, he should def get a portable foil shaver. Like the Andis Profoil.
I use it for my face, but it’s even better for your head. that shit makes shaving stubble so damn easy with such minimal mess. It’s most barber’s go to, it’s like $50 bucks, no replacement blades or shaving cream needed. Just quick buzz, such a close shave… and then just brush off the shaved hairs left in under the foil with the little brush. Fastest and best razor method I’ve ever tried. This is not an ad lol

If you look at the options, you can turn on auto-flee, which saves a lot of friction. Quite nice
NL has recreated humor into its final form.
If a gorilla attacks you, lay down, DO NOT look in it's eye, and be as pathetic as possible. They tend not to attack creatures weaker than them and that are not a threat or are challenging them. That's for getting them to not attack. Doesn't mean they won't curiously poke and prod at you. Maybe even drag you around for a bit. But you definitely don't want them to start DK Ground Pounding your face into oblivion.

"I have 17 mana. Is that good?" If only he knew in this moment he had discovered the literal best build in the game... Didn't even understand why triple shuriken was such a powerful activator for exactly the final boss he got on the dancer.
He actually recognized the range the shuriken gave him. I would still say mirroring the 2 reroll is a better call except for against that final boss specifically. That final boss can shut down the dancer pretty bad if the shuriken wasn't equipped, but in general it should be more consistent to have 3 out of 6 of her rolls be rerolls instead of 2 out of 6. It of course usually doesn't matter but shuriken dancer is more vulnerable to not rolling any rerolls 3 times in a row or roll 1 reroll into a non reroll or something like that which kills off the combo before it can even begin. There is like a 30% chance for shuriken dancer to fail pretty bad as opposed to the around 13% chance of the mirror dancer to fail.
@@ardabaser1349 i think youre not recognising that with the shuriken the dancer almost definitely goes infinite if you roll either of the extra roll cantrips in in the first 3 rolls. With the duplicated dancer its easier to not fail in the first 3 rolls but its a lot harder to go infinite or deal as much damage as the shuriken dancer
@@Waghabond I did not calculate that far but I would say that it probably gets infinitely harder to fail going infinite if you don't fail the first 3 rolls. Dealing more cantrip damage was not even a consideration in my analysis.

Trying to sleep to this run was a horrible idea, the anecdotes are too pogged, the misplays make me lose my mind and the turn at 1:37:40ish made me lose my mind and laugh so hard I'm pretty sure I woke up my roommate.

Hello fellow bald brother, for what it's worth my go-to has always been just buzzing it down low if it's a little long, then applying shaving cream and using a regular razor. I'm no expert but it works fine for my dome, and honestly easier than shaving your face because the scalp is all smooth skin unlike the neck. Your results may vary, but God speed.

You have a very low living rate when you jump overboard from a cruise ship, it's something like 15% chance of living.
I did some simulations and found that with the reroll cantrips NL had (two +2, one +1 rerolls) he could expect an average of about 18 rolls. With the shuriken he could get infinite re-rolls because the average number of rerolls on the dancer would be 1 ((4 + 2) / 6).
I think I could eat 18 sushi rolls right now.
you might as well always use the dice that is pain +heal + empty max hp cus it also heals the caster for as much as they take damage

17:31 thing about these "could you beat big animal in a fight" is that they don't know the rules. they fight for survival, food, territory or protecting their group. if you didn't manage to piss them off enough they'll just run away and that's not you beating them that's just them being smart about it. so the parameters of the challenge have to be set pretty well for the question to even make sense.

One thing I've found about this game that I don't necessarily like is, using the shortsword as an example, its good for replacing blanks early but once your hero levels it becomes pretty useless. Would love to see a way to upgrade items to keep them useful.
